This is the second Presidential museum I have been to, so I can only compare to the Carter museum in Atlanta. Over all it is well worth going to. It is a beautiful building and very well maintained. This focuses on LBJ's life and his term as President. We went through quickly and spend about an hour, you could definitely spend more time. I accidentally parked in a University of Texas lot and got a ticket. I guess there is guest parking but I must have missed it. Be careful.

Great exhibits that really give you a glimpse into politics of the 1960s. The phone booths where you can hear phone recordings for LBJ talking to congressmen and others were fascinating. The building's late 60s/early 70s modern, monolithic architecture perfectly suits the overall museum experience,

This was my number one place to see on my vacation. I was old enough to remember his presidency but too young to know or care about politics. After spending 20 minutes in the museum, I was in awe of President Johnson. My main question is/was "What did he NOT do?" what an amazing man! I spent 2 and 1/2 hours here. You have got to visit here! My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place was so worth the $10 I paid. The exhibits immediately ushered me into the personality and presence of the man himself. And it was all done with just the right amount of exhibits; it didn't leave me feeling like I couldn't read it all or that there were huge sides of his person which were neglected. Great photography too. Simply stunning.
