Le Petit Four
"California-French Restaurant Le Petit Four is a way of life! Located perfectly in the center of Sunset Plaza with free parking!, the enchanting restaurant is a longstanding landmark for locals and travelers alike. With its famous sunflower colored awning and electric blue lettering, it is often seen and featured in films and television as an iconic “LA spot”. While the bustling restaurant boasts excitement both day and night, it is the eclectic Cali-French menu and easy lifestyle that are most alluring. The vast and varied choices of dishes are created in-house in a traditional way, yet delivered in 21st-century bistro style."

I recently visited Le Petit Four and I must say, it's one of the best French restaurants I've experienced in Los Angeles. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. We started with the snails, which were superb, followed by a Quiche Lorraine and Salade Niçoise for the entrées. Each dish was simply incredible, perfectly capturing the essence of French cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant enhances the authentic French vibe, making it a must-visit for anyone in search of genuine French dining. I absolutely recommend Le Petit Four if you're looking for a top-notch French restaurant experience.
Grade B+ 88: We went there for dessert after going to Charcoal Sunset for dinner. The coffee was good. The Napoleon Mille Feuille was good, the flourless chocolate cake was ok, the profiteroles, I liked the cream. Not very impressed for those prices though. The Ambience was good, parking is easy and free behind the building went around a couple of times on the street, then discovered there's plenty of parking in the back . Service is ok, and they automatically tip themselves well. I won't drive all the way there but if I'm in the area, I might drop by for a steak au Poivre and a Napoleon! Parking: Free parking in the back was a plus especially if you know ahead of time so you don't go around and around looking for parking.
Great dinner while visiting WeHo! Hostest was great, also when I had questions about the desserts she brought the whole platter for me to see the assortment. Also, very much appreciated was the fact they are all made fresh in house! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Walked around Sunset Strip and then came here for lunch a few weeks ago. We were there before noon so getting a table was not an issue but it started to fill up soon after. The quiche was good, the roast duck a tad salty and the tomato soup a little too tangy. There is a great view of West Hollywood behind the restaurant
The Calamari Steak is incredible. One of the best calamari dishes I've had in a long time. I ordered this dish as an appetizer and it was perfect to share with a few people. The pizza wasn't bad, you're probably better off ordering a pizza from an Italian restaurant instead. Same goes with the pasta. I was really upset with the Penne Le Petit Four. It was a bit too sweet, I was served this dish without parmesan cheese. The environment is great, the parking is easy, and this is a great place to go for some french food.
This lunch was the highlight of our short time in LA. I still think about these crab cakes - they are a must. They were soft, fresh, and paired perfectly with both creamy dips. The service was lovely. We were given options about where to be seated: patio or indoors. For dessert, our server brought out a cake tray with the day’s freshly baked options. The napoleon was so satisfying. All in all happy with everything we ordered and would certainly be back again.
Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in all of California, the cousin is exquisite. Tonight was my first time visiting this establishment having lived in California for 6 years now and before that frequently vacationing in Cali. I recommend the quiche Lorraine can't loose.
I am on a girls getaway weekend from Charleston Sc .We had a excellent time with the staff there yesterday afternoon. We had such amazing food & the staff was so friendly and helpful. When I come back next year I will be going back there Vegetarian options: I am plant based so I had salmon and shrimp
The food is tasty. The atmosphere was nice. The service was just acceptable coz I felt a rush and my waiter had not enough time to serve. I asked for a glass of hot water for a pill, I did not expect a teapot for which I will pay $4. And in restaurants of this status and popular location they don’t clear the table when the guests haven’t left yet
Love the mirrors. I've not had a bad time here or bad food! Though, with anything, there are ups and downs. It's a well-known spot, popular, and has been on Sunset for a long time. Casual. Lunchtime and early dinners are nice and quiet. Parking: There is a parking lot and a rear entry to this restaurant. The patio entrance faces Sunset Blvd on top.
