I went to college in France and worked for an amazing baker while in school there. This really brings me back to my time with him! Scrumptious buttery croissants, sweet Danishes, flaky Pains au Chocolat…delicious! They also have the most brilliant gazpacho. Bon appétit.
The pastries are good, I always enjoy the chocolate almond croissant but without fail every time I go in the same women behind the counter is rude to me, every time. I like getting it at the College View farmers market, good service, but that employee definitely makes me change my mind about stopping in.
This was our first visit and we liked it, delicious egg sandwich in soft and fresh croissants, fresh strong coffee, and on top of these the friendly awesome staff. I will definitely visit again.
Service wasn’t friendly. The icing on the chocolate cupcake tasted freezer burnt. Cake part was good. They need to refigure their packaging for cupcakes, difficult to remove from the cup, you have to tear the packaging around it. It’s a mess.
Best croissants and baguettes in town, hands down. Been coming to one location or another since it was called the Bread Oven.
