I had a great time with the kids. Nice little park. Would have been a bit livelier in the winter months and we might of seen some manatees and a lot more butterflies. It was still a good time. My complaints: Some of the plants are a little overgrown and some of the gravel paths look a bit sketchy. Honestly, neither of which is really that big of a deal.

Go on a cold day and see dozens of manatee. There is like a cut out pond at the end of the sidewalk away from the road that had 27 manatees just lounging around one day while we were there

Great place, saw many manatees! At 11 and 2 they have a program, these time did not fit when we visited so no comment on them. Restrooms by the shop were clean. The viewing areas were nice and paths were clean. The shop had some nice souvenir items. They also have some self guided tour/information to help you learn more about the manatees. Best to visit fall thru spring, the water is warmer than the rest of gulf during the colder months which is what attracts them to the area.

Nice park to visit and picnic. Also has fishing, canoeing and playground for kids. Manatees are only present in certain months of the year.
