Story

Since 1988, the Lee Lin family has been serving delicious, customizable American Chinese & traditional Chinese cuisine for dine-in, carryout or delivery in Troy, NY. Grandpa Lee started from the bottom up in American Chinese restaurants in 1976, when he came from Communist China with little but the clothes on his back to serve the Beautiful Country (English literal translation of 美國, Chinese for "America"). And for the privilege of serving freely, he would often say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" We continue his legacy of service-orientation, hardwork, and gratitude. Triple thanks to Grandpa, to everyone at Lee Lin, and most of all to our many customers!

The food is good but every few time I order there's something that goes wrong. Either the amount of sauce or heat is off or I find human hair in the food. The other day I bit into an egg roll and there was a long black hair in it.

Only ordered from here because our regular place that is closer to us is closed on Sunday. My mother wanted Chinese food for her Mother's Day dinner yesterday. Well.. Not one item tasted good, or was made the way most other places do. We were not happy at all. We threw 95% of it in the garbage. Almost $40 worth of food for the two of us. And to make matters worse, my mother was awake all night with stomach issues. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!

I have been ordering from here for over a year and have had no bad experiences. Once there was an error but they corrected it and delivered it quickly. I really enjoy everything I have tried and will keep ordering from them. We all have errors once in a while when ordering takeout and they are busy because they are good.

I've been ordering from here for at least 10 years and have noticed a steady decline the past year. Four times the past year my son's extra white rice has been missing which we paid for, no big deal, we shared ours and kept coming back. Today though, after ordering on GrubHub I noticed Chicken Teriyaki missing. I called, figured no big deal, I'll just pick it up thinking it was a mistake. Instead the gentleman on the phone berated me and insisted I was wrong. He went as far as comparing me to college kids who he argued are always calling and trying to get free food. Lee Lin, you are in a very competitive market and I am done with your restaurant.
