My father would bring my brother and I here when we were kids and we loved it. So my opinion might be a bit colored by nostalgia.
Recently went after not having been in almost a decade.
It was as good as I remember. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Got the mini dogs and some cheese fries. Nothing fancy and completely satisfying.
It is what it has always been, a great place to grab some delicious, filling food.

I always have a hard time finding them. The staff was polite and quick . The food is yummy like I expected to be. I like their hot dog sauce. No it's not healthy but I know what I'm getting. The store is a little dated but it has  an outside area to sit. It has parking.  They also take credit cards which is why I've never been to the other hot dog place because I never have cash.

Boyfriend and I recently relocated to Atlanta, after him living in NY for all but one year of his life, and myself from Chicago and Raleigh. He would always request his mother ship down this "Hot Dog Charlie's " sauce. I see why now. Finally was able to eat in at the location, and I loved it. Next Christmas, when we commute back north, I'm going again for sure.

Not the cleanest place I have been but the food was tasty for what you pay and it came pretty quickly. Burgers were hot and juicy, dogs were not overly sauced and saucy with a nice snap to it.
