Normally I would give this place 5 stars. I've been to this location many times over the years and have never been dissatisfied. But until yesterday... I went about 12pm, I was waited on by an employee named "Grace". Her body language was as if she did not want to be there at work. I ordered 2 combos, a Jumbo Dippers two sides, Chicken Sliders one side and individual order of potato wedges. She never asked me if I wanted dipping sauce. So I had to ask after I received my tray, and she waited until I started to walk away with it to proceed to tell me I needed silverware, so I had to turn back. The coleslaw did not taste the same as it always did before. I always remember it being on the sweeter side and it was not. As my spouse and myself are eating, I noticed neither of us had biscuits, butter, honey, none of that. I decided I was so dissatisfied that I'd had enough, that I was not going back up to the counter because I did not want her to wait on me again.

Our food was cold, the chicken litterally looked disgusting like someone dropped it in the fryer wrong, wasn't given my gallon of sweet tea I paid for and had to wait for twenty minutes because they ran out of chicken at 5:00pm. This was Thursday, not to mention we've had problems with attitude by one cashier not paying attention. I'm done for awhile. The biscuit was good though so that's a plus.

By far the best chicken, and livers around! I've been enjoying the New Carlisle location for many years! I have always been greeted with a friendly smile, and received great service! ! Of course we can't leave out their outstanding fried pickles, and mouth watering fresh biscuits! ! Thanks for being such an awesome hometown favorite!

The chicken was phenomenal, the service was excellent and the store was clean. I was very impressed overall with my first ever visit to Lee's.

Always spot on in New Carlisle. Quick service always fresh. The Springfield locations could learn a thing or two from this location.
