I wanted to write this review as a thank you to the fine folk at Leevy's Funeral Home.  My family entrusted Leevy's with the home going service of my beloved grandmother.  From the beginning to the end, the leadership and staff at Leevy's showed compassion, care, and professionalism that warrants this 5 star rating.  Their attention to all the details allowed my family to focus on what was most important and that was taking care of one another.  Thank you for your commitment to excellent care. My family and I are deeply grateful to the Leevy’s Funeral Home staff for their care and professionalism during our time of bereavement in the loss of my sister, Minister Jessie D. Mills. From the moment I first contacted Mr. Leverette Williams to advise him that my sister had passed and that we had chosen to continue our family legacy of using Leevy’s Funeral Home to the day we laid Jessie to rest, the Leevy’s Funeral Home staff provided us excellent care. Our personal contact with the staff, including Rev. Dr. Christopher Leevy Johnson, Mr. Leverette Williams, Ms. Wanda Jackson, Mr. Bryony Haltiwanger, Mr. Flavian Coleman, and others was exceptional. On the evening of the wake and the day of the funeral service, our hearts were glad to see Mr. I. S. Leevy Johnson himself there to greet us. This may be routine but it sure made us feel special. Although we were grieving, those special touches confirmed for us that we had made the right choice. Leevy’s is indeed a temple of service and we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge you for such excellent care. We are truly grateful and pray that God continues to bless the Leevy's Funeral Home staff exceedingly and abundantly, both individually and collectively.

Recently I worked with Leevy's Funeral home for my mother's funeral. Throughout the process Leevy's was professional, extremely nice, patient, and customer focused.  The loss of a loved one can be a very emotional experience which some funeral homes attempt to take advantage of. Chris Leevy and Leverette Williams II did not try to over sale me.  In fact they recommended several cost saving items that helped in reducing my overall funeral expenses. Every experience with Leevy's from the ladies who answered the phones to the back office staff was outstanding.  The excellent customer service we received on the day of the funeral was so great that my family and friends still cannot stop talking about it. The gentleman who presided over my mother's funeral anticipated our every need, had an outstanding demeanor, were courteous, and looked GREAT in their suits. It truly was a sight to behold. Overall I would rate the service I received from Leevy's A++++ and I highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding funeral experience.

Leevy's funeral home did an excellent job. Their service was outstanding. They were organized and operated in nothing but excellence. The most detailed, organized and beautiful service I've ever attended for a family member!
