This place is just fantastic. Great activities from horseback riding to zip-lining to golfing to water parks...a ton of fun stuff to do. I can't give it high enough ratings for the customer service. EVERY staff member is professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly.

My friend's wedding was here. It was so gorgeous and everyone was very helpful. Beautiful place, nice, fairly clean rooms. The water park and other activities looked great. I'd love to come back some time but it is very expensive.

This is not my first stay at the Lodge at Lanier Islands, and once again I was fantastic! This time we stayed in the Villas and loved it. We had dinner at Bullfrogs in the lodge. Our food was phenomenal and our server was fabulous. We stayed to enjoy the magical nights of lights and found they had so many new displays this year! We can't wait till next year for the lights, but will find a reason or three to stay during the year. It's nice having such an awesome vacation destination so close to home!

my wife and I just stayed at the Legacy Lodge and accepted their valentines special. I have to say that we were both terribly disappointed in what we received for nearly $700.00 for one night's stay. The room was nice, but charging $21.39 for a movie? Our package included dinner at Sidney's for a value of $119 (free glass of wine and a special menu) which was so low end, it was embarrassing for me on our 23rd Wedding Anniversary. Their Sidney's standard menu items were not on it, and it was terrible. We then had our room's smoke detector start chirping around midnight and worst of all...Legacy Lodge hotel security tried to enter our room at 3:15am and scared my wife to death. Thank goodness we had the door jam bar set. We reported it within 2 minutes by calling the front desk, but nothing happened until 3 days later after I pressed to find out why they tried to enter our room. When we checked out later that morning, the on duty manager had no idea it had happened so the front desk person did not record the issue in our room records and it took their hotel management and security teams 2 days to determine "we received a "noise complaint" and just went to the wrong room". They did offer a gift certificate for a return stay and I turned it down. I will never go back to that place again!. I do NOT recommend this resort, for a place trying to be upscale, they missed the mark completely!

Went there for a company end of the year party and stayed overnight. The provided dinner was good, the employees were more than friendly and the room were very accommodating with a wonderful view of the lake. I absolutely love the fact that the room had hardwood flooring instead of carpet like your normal dirty hotel flooring.
