We signed on for a trip on Americas Biggest and Best Casino Cruise Ship, the VICTORY.  However, the trip was changed to a smaller boat.  The reviews for that boat were awful, an LJ did nothing to notify us of the change.  They were also not available to us for questions.  We opted to not go--and we asked for our money back; not due to our cancellation, but due to the secretive bait and switch tactics used for this trip.  No journey we have taken with this business has been legendary--actually, far from it, but THIS one takes the cake.  To blatantly allow a major change in a pre-booked tour and then not even notify customers is the height of unethical.  We have written a detailed letter to LJ requesting a refund, but they have not even responded. I would recommend that you avoid this business and find an ethical travel agent.

So far my experience with Legendary Journeys had been terrible.  We paid for our cruise in Europe in full in December 2015, and just received confirmation of payment and airline itinerary March 26, 2016.  We are departing for Paris on April 2, and still have not received Our travel documents, including information specific to dates of our cruise, excursions, and transfer vouchers from the airport to our hotel in Paris.
You would think a travel agency would want to give reassurance to customers travelling in Europe right now.  I will not book with Legendary Journeys again, or recommend them to anyone.

I am sure you are aware, to some degree, of the disaster on the Albuquerque Balloon trip of October 2 - 9, 2015.  Here is a list of SOME of the reasons:  Poor coordination of air transport (getting us up in the middle of the night to make a plane when nothing was schedule for that day while others arrived much later in the day which made more sense), the terrible bus service (not showing up, trying to take us to the wrong hotel, missing several schedule departure times), tour guides absent in key situations, tour guides with no idea what was going on and arguing with each other in front of travelers, missing key sights on the tour because of the incompency of the tour guides, and lastly as I understand it, sending a letter to a passenger in the other couch blaming her for the problems and threatening to remove her if she didn't stop agitating.  Believe me, we did not need another passenger to be agitated.  You are, with absolute no doubt, the worst travel agency we have ever dealt with.  We will never be traveling with you again and we will stongly advise anyone to avoid dealing with you in the future.  You are a disgrace to the travel industry and this is from a pair of travelers that have over 50 years of travels behind them.  Bob MacDonald and Jack Smith
