We can't stress enough the importance of hiring an education attorney to guide you through the IEP process. We waited, and wasted, 2 years before seeking help and our only regret is that we waited so long. Mandy and her team are informed, committed and passionate. They are quick to respond and identified legal issues with our case that we were unaware of. She represented and defended our son's rights better than we could dream of doing. He was underserved for years, but now his future is much brighter thanks to Mandy's efforts and the services she opened up for us. We recommend her to anyone who wonders if they should hire an attorney. If you ask yourself that question then talk with Mandy and if you hire her, she will give you her all. I have been working with Jay and his team at Leigh Law group for over 2 years now and I have had a wonderful experience. Jay has always been upfront with me, supportive in my decisions and educational. As you know these issues that we require legal assistance for are very difficult, it takes a lot of expertise and emotional support, I could not have made a better choice then to hire Jay and his team to help me with my situation. Mandy Leigh was recommended to us as an attorney we could trust in the area of special education law. After one phone conversation, it was clear she knew what she was talking about; we hired Mandy to help us with a difficult school situation for our child with special needs. Believe me, Mandy will get the job done. She’s a straight shooter who will keep focused (and keep you focused) on achieving the best outcome for your child. She is sharp, articulate, confident, intuitive in reading people, knows special education law inside and out, has a strong presence, and no fear of the appeals process if necessary. She is also realistic, and will not promise you something unlikely. Navigating the legal system, in our case in the special education area, can be complex and daunting, and a top-notch attorney can make all of the difference. Highly recommend.

We hired Leigh Law Group to advocate for our child who is a special needs student in Marin County. There were issues regarding IEP process in general with goals, accommodations and modifications. We were glad to have Mandy and her team on our side over the years. The IEP process is confusing to the average parent and when the school district/ administrators tried to "sweep our son under the rug," Mandy was persistent in her approach and the proof is in the results. Mandy is consummate professional, she treated our case with genuine care and attention it deserved. Our son is so much better off today thanks to all her efforts. We won't hesitate to call her again when needed.
