These were by far the best cookies I ever had. They were moist inside and crispy outside. They only make 6 types of cookies and some seasonal ones. I tried the walnut chocolate chip and it was absolutely amazing. You might wanna consider splitting because it's huge.
I’m usually not one to be picky with cookies and I really wanted to love these for the hype, but for $5 each these plump and gooey cookies were subpar and made my stomach hurt. Seemed uncooked in the inside. Although the shop is very cute, service is good, and coffee is excellent. Cookies should be worth $3 at most. I would go back just for the iced latte I had, but hoping they have sidewalk seating once the weather gets warmer! The 4-5 seats the have in the front is not enough.
I’ve try this place a few times to consider to be a solid review, the atmosphere is nice and pleasant, the staff is nice and welcoming, coffee is good for the most part, the reason why I didn’t give them a 5 is because I don’t like my pastries/cookies undercooked, I’ve try their cookies and lemon pound cake but for my tasting it wasn’t fully cooked, also I think this might be their staple way of baking, since I work 2 doors down, and on a busy day you will see a line out the door. I guess we can say it’s an acquire taste and it could be subjective.
Quite the hype in town only to find that bakery items are quite overpriced and honestly not that fresh/hot/out of the oven feel. However, the bakery item I purchased was delicious but not extraordinary delicious. There was quite a very long line to buy a bakery item. Nice indoor decoration and vibe but no indoor sitting. There is outdoor sitting available.
Oh my… these cookies are divine! Super substantial cookies- full of flavor and goodness. One was more than enough. So yummy! We sat outside on the patio chairs one evening and thoroughly enjoyed our scrumptious cookies. We had the double chocolate chip. Fast friendly service even when super slammed. Highly recommend.
A much awaited visit to LEGENDARY COOKIES BAKERY! And Yes, I was amazed by the secret recipe of self melting Choco chip cookies. It’s a must try! I have recently been in a best cookies spree. And will settle this one on the Second spot, only because it’s TOO SWEET!
Oooo..the cookie! I generally do not eat too much sweet and not a cookie lover for sure. I went with few friends so we ended up getting multiple variety - dark chocolate, walnut cookie, dark chocolate with peanut. All of them were delicious. It’s soft with a texture of cookie like but feel of brownie. Definitely a place I would go back again.
Leaving Bakery on Newbury street was very popular when I went with friends. It was at least twenty people ahead of us. The wait was about 15 min. The staff was very organized. They handled everyone at ease. I truly felt head. I recommend it here for taste of their cookies. I went there for the cookies. I just wanted a sweet indulgence. Leavin Bakery has a variety of cookies including chocolate chip walnut, oatmeal raisin, dark chocolate chocolate chip, dark chocolate peanut butter chip, two chip chocolate chip, and gluten free chocolate chip walnut. Each cookie is $5 a piece. It's pretty expense, but taste and size are def worth the price. Each cookie is no ordinary cookie. It is size of two cookies. Dirkng my stay, I got two kinds of cookies. I tried peanut butter and oatmeal raisin. Peanut butter is totally a dream taste for any peanut butter loves. It's also sweet indulgence into chocolate. It's really rich. I love picking at oatmeal raisin cookie. It freezes really well. Overall the cookies were totally worth it. I would come back to try a few more treats. It's worth every bite. I encourage others to try it here at least once.
Huge but pricey cookies at $5 a pop. The peanut butter one was really sweet. Tastes much better after nuking for 20 seconds till hot. Also got a lemon cake and was expecting a lovely centre slice as pictured, but got the end of the loaf. The crust was ok and full of lemon syrup flavour fortunately.
Definitely a different type of cookie not comparable to any other. They’re pretty good with some decent flavor. I do feel the smaller cookies have more flavor and are easier to eat but there’s nothing wrong with having different types of cookies. The pricing is definitely fair and make sure you have some liquids to be able to put a cookie down !
