Dr. Van Gemert grew up in Spokane and finished high school at Gonzaga Prep. He went on to attend Carroll College in Helena, Montana and graduated with a biology degree in 1997. In 2001, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. Afterwards, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the United States Navy and enjoyed serving there as a dental officer from 2001-2005. Dr. Van Gemert moved back to Spokane in 2005 and has been practicing at Liberty Park Family Dentistry ever since.
