This place charged close to $400 to file my tax. I did my research and found out this was way too much for a non-itemized, simple tax preparation. I called and told them not to file, but they said they already processed it. They assured me that the owner would call me and help me with my concern. After a couple of times contacting them, all they could say was that they will email the owner. It has been a couple of weeks and still no contact. I will be contacting corporate next.

I have used liberty for last couple years this year would make three years I've never received an advance on my taxes in past years however this year I desperately needed the advance I contacted several tax preparers in my area and after being assured by several locations including liberty tax I chose to keep my business with liberty once my taxes were filed 299.00 I left their office assured I would be receiving an advance on my taxes several hours later they called and informed me I wouldn't be receiving an advance when I asked why they couldn't tell me why now honestly I don't get to upset about much but I really needed this advance never was it discussed with me that the advance was on an approval rating I was only told as long as I was a repeat customer and hadn't had any trouble with the IRS I would receive my advance which I fit the criteria perfectly so as disgruntled as I am I would not recommend l iberty tax service to anyone nor will I ever return to liberty tax service in the future also I might add that I have expressed my situation to the staff repeatedly and have been awaiting a call from the owner over my experience since January 24 2017 it is now the second of February 2017 still no phone call

Liberty tax gives great customer service! They also are very educated and know exactly what they were doing when preparing taxes
