I've only visited Asbury Park once but I've been to a LOT of surf shops. Lightly Salted is a Good One and has a great selection of clothes and gifts too. Def no french fries or corn dogs sold there, those would be further down the boardwalk.

Fantastic shop. Great customer service. We've been customers the last several years. Mostly rentals and wetsuits in the past. This year we purchased a foam top Doyle surf board, however my daughter had some challenges with it--a bit too small for her. The staff and owner worked with us, took the used board back and gave us a very fair store credit towards a larger board. MacKenzie and Teagan are really helpful staff. MacKenzie thanks for going the extra mile!

Ordered just French fries and mini-corn dogs and after 30 minutes no food. Reminded them and still 15 minutes no food. Could not do a credit card refund, just cash back.
