So I don't write reviews usually but I felt this needed to be said.
This place did an amazing job with my daughter's cake. I asked for a mirror cake with teal and purple in it, with a splash of silver. It was gorgeous. (A little sweeter because of the glaze, but that was expected)
I had a wonderful experience with this place and wanted everyone to know what an amazing job they did!!

Due to the good reviews and experience on cake wars, I was so excited to order from this shop. Unfortunately, I couldn't be more disappointed at this point. I ordered a cake for my son's cake smash tomorrow. When I went to pick it up, the woman told me they had made it yesterday and that the letters had bled on the frosting. I asked if it would bleed more by tomorrow morning (That's when the cake smash is) and she said yes it will bleed more since it's buttercream. Considering this shop seems to have a lot of experience, why would you do it that way if you knew it would bleed and end up looking messy? They gave me no solution to it and basically said I am out of luck. The only thing they did was allowed me not to pay the 10 dollars I had left, but that doesn't fix the fact that this is the night before my son's cake smash, which will never happen again, and the cake is pretty much guaranteed by staff to not look good by the morning. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never give my business again.

I really hate to do this cuz I've been coming here for so long for the last several years last order was about 2 years ago for my daughter's birthday two layer Teen Beach Movie cake it was lopsided the whole cake fell apart before it even got to this event called in spoke with Lily didn't do nothing to fix it just like all the other comments she did put the blame on us which is so unprofessional remind you my whole family goes to her and picks up cakes Cupcakes you name it we did it I stopped going just recently having my husband's cake put the order in with Lily herself it was supposed to have stars coming out of the cake and the 30 coming out of the cake as well windup is went in to pick it up cake was very plain yes it was nice but it was plain not what Lily drawed up then I realize she's not even there it was young girls putting two cakes together there was flies all over one lady was hitting the flys with the white towel they use to wipe their hands on when they touch the frosty I open my mouth and freaked out didn't say one word.... now it's time to cut the cake I found a piece of hair stuck to the fondant and the cake in the middle I brushed it off as if it was my daughter's hair giving the benefit of the doubt the next morning i Cut the Cake again it's in the same spot in between the fondant and the cake it was gross Please be aware I'm so sorry to do this but Fame went to her head she's not even there anymore to do the cakes herself! I'm not even going to call and explain cuz I'll probably be to blame again go elsewhere HEB Walmart Sam's Club!

Lily's cupcakes make every celebration a success whether for work or at home. My favorites are lemon, blueberry, and German chocolate.  The staff are always helpful and professional. I am beyond excited about their new store opening in Temple, on 31st Street across from Scott & White Hospital. I stopped by this afternoon when I noticed the open sign blinking in their window. Aaahhhh! Now Lily's bites full of heavenly deliciousness are just down the road from me 😋😊💕🎂

Lily has been making all of my cakes/cupcakes since we moved here. I've had over a dozen experiences with the owner and her bakery. I am always leaving with a huge smile on my face! The cakes for one taste amazing, the presentation is always perfect, and the customer service is top notch! You will not be disappointed working with Lily for all of your cake needs!
