We'd like to introduce you to the Lindy's crew, and let you know why you should buy your next boat from Lindy's.

First and foremost, Lindy's Sales Sells Fun! We want your total boating experience to be hassle-free and enjoyable. Lindy's has been family owned and operated for 39 years. The same people who sell and deliver your new boat will be here to see it through service and maintenance in the coming years.

THE LINDY'S STORY

Lindy's was founded in 1970 by Don Lindenberg and his wife, Jeanne. They outgrew their first location and moved to the current site in 1971. Several expansions over the years have resulted in the present 22,000 square feet of showroom, service and warehouse space.

The sales force consists of Don and Jeanne, their son Kurt, and daughter, Lisa Valentine. We are a family owned and operated business, and over the years have come to know many of our customers by name. A dealership principal is always present during business hours to serve our customers.

One visit to our showroom and you'll notice how the Lindy's sales experience differs from other dealers. Unlike most dealerships today, we don't feel a need to high-pressure the sales presentation. Instead, our sales people are honest and friendly. Many dealers start out at list price and play a guessing game with you before you find out their “best” price. At Lindy's, you'll get our best price up front without haggling. Our sales people realize major purchases are not always accomplished on your first visit to the dealership.

PARTS & SERVICE DEPT.

Lindy's is a full service marine dealership, known for our excellent service after the sale. Factory trained technicians with 20 or more years experience will rig and water-test your boat prior to delivery.

When you take delivery of your new boat, we don’t simply hand you the keys and send you out the door. You will be introduced to our service technicians - Chet Ainsworth, Dave Lytle, and Jim Valentine, who will walk you through operation and maintenance at the time of delivery. First time boat owners are given a hands-on, on the water demonstration at our marina. We also include a FREE Coast Guard safety package with every boat and motor purchased.

Our parts department is staffed by knowledgeable personnel. We carry a large inventory of parts needed for most repairs.

Our service technicians have the ability to water test boats at our marina, vs. the test tank or hose/earmuff testing most dealers settle for. We also utilize an engine dyno as a cross-check for difficult performance checks. Chet Ainsworth, our senior mechanic, has been with the dealership since 1976. Chet is experienced in major engine and lower unit repair.

SHIP'S STORE

Our ship's store features full line of parts and accessories, including marine electronics (fishfinders, GPS, radios), at competitive prices. We also sell skis, ski vests and related items. Lindy’s also offers boat hoists and docks.

LINDY'S LANDING MARINA

1989 saw the development of our full service marina on Saginaw Bay. Lindy's Landing Marina offers boaters quick access to Saginaw Bay by way of the Quanicassee River. A well-marked channel provides access for boats up to 35 feet. Marina facilities include gas dock, ship's store and shower facilities. Most slips are rented on a seasonal basis and start at $595 per season. Transient slips are also available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

What a great dealer! I found them on the Yamaha dealer locator page, and just bought a Yamaha Side by Side from Kurt. I was more than satisfied with the purchase and the way I was treated . I have dealt with many dealers over the years that act like they are doing you a favor to take your money , so I greatly appreciated being treated like a customer by Lindy sales. I would highly recommend this dealer .

I dealt with a lot of places over the years that just weren't that great. 3 years ago I bought my boat used from from Lindy's. They were selling it on consignment for the first owner. I am the second owner and they have serviced the boat since new. They went thru the boat top to bottom when I bought it and fixed every issue. I now drive an hour each way every year to have them service it and it is well with my time. I highly recommend them.

I bought my first boat from Lindy's and im glad i did. There saying of "service after the sale" is absolutely true! I HIGHLY recommend them rather your buying a new or used boat. I love the way the staff was friendly from the sales associates to the AWESOME mechanics. Thank you to everyone there who made my first boat buying experience great. Special thanks to Lisa and Jim.

Lindy's performed a major repair job (our boat overheated and it was a doozy) on our 2004 Four Winns. The boat worked great for a couple of weekends, and then broke down again (wouldn't go on plane, refused to go over 8 mph). After I got a very long tow (it took 2 hours - I was on Lake St. Clair when this happened), we checked the motor and realized that Lindy's had neglected to tighten a couple of the hoses, resulting in water spraying on the distributor cap. After we tightened the hoses and left the engine open for a few hours to dry out, it's been running fine. I'd also note that when I got the boat back from them, everything inside of it was soaking wet. They clearly had left our boat out and uncovered for a long period of time (they had our boat for 4 weeks to do this repair). I had to open all the seats, take everything from underneath out of it and let everything dry out. Some of my things were moldy. We will not be taking our boat back there for service again, unfortunately. While Lisa was nice to deal with on the phone, the hoses should have been tightened down properly and our boat shouldn't have been left out to rot in the rain.
