Usually like clock work every time we travel to Duluth and stay at our "usual" place just down the street...it never fails for us to make a pit stop for lunch or dinner at Angie's! Back in September (2017), we dropped in for dinner. The staff there are mostly college kids but know their restaurant. They are quick, friendly and when things slow down are great "tour guides" for suggesting places to see and visit while in Duluth. The food is very good if you enjoy Tex Mex and the prices reasonably reflect the quality. The drinks...especially their margaritas are amazing! They know how to make them! You will not be disappointed, I never am!! The interior is fun and historical with many old leather saddles, rawhide ropes, woven baskets, old wooden pieces - like a ladder, saddle tree & pottery! There's even an original saddle that belonged to Poncho Villa!! Just remember that usually on the weekends, especially during the summer months they get very busy so plan accordingly if you decide to visit!

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the waiter was amazing! He was attentive without hovering, and knew his job well. The food however was terrible. I ordered a plate of Southwest tacos which consisted of 3 tacos (your choice of ground beef, shredded beef, or shredded chicken), Spanish rice, and your choice of beans (black or pinto). I ordered 2 ground beef & 1 chicken taco. The beans and rice were perfectly fine and you could tell they were freshly made. The tacos were another story. The cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce were fresh, but the ground beef was obviously reheated and dried out because of it. I will most likely not be back. This place was amazing the last time I was there, so I don't know what happened.

From Toronto, Canada. We were at the Cantina last August with my in-laws from Australia. We enjoyed the food so much. When my daughter from Thunder Bay, visiting Duluth, asked us the restaurant's name, we did not hesitate to recommend your restaurant and they were there last night, and they enjoyed the food and the decor too. Also the waiter was amazing and friendly he's the best.

Little Angies is a MUST when visiting Canal Park. Exceptional service and food. Huge variety of drinks. Great wine list. Fabulous atmosphere. In the summer when the weather is nice I highly recommend dining alfresco on the deck and enjoying the scenery or just people watching. I have never been disappointed with a meal or service here. Highly recommend

Food was good not only on our first visit, but our second as well. Drinks were good. Server we had was fun! We were completely covered under an umbrella during a downpour, and she was cool with us staying there on the patio. She delivered our food to us under and escorted umbrella so it wasn't soaked. Fun atmosphere.
