Best little Mexican food place that you've never heard of in Rio Rancho. I don't know why this location is way better then the Corrales rd location in Abq. Go here because you will not be disappointed. It really just like much from the outside but don't be fooled. Excellent employees and excellent service.
Called in an order for dinner on 11/21, the guy who answered the phone said it was just 2 people running the restaurant so it would be 20-30 minutes for food..I had no problem with that, we got to the drive thru and waited quite awhile because there was 3 cars ahead of us. When We got to the window the guy couldn’t have been nicer, apologizing for the wait no apologies necessary my man I could tell they were stressed but let me tell you .. these 2 killed it!! Our food was delicious!!! And the service was great. Great job to these two individuals holding it down Monday night. The food and service is always great here but I had to commend these 2 for doing an exceptional job so short staffed. We definitely will be returning.
Little Anita's has been a long standing go-to for a quick family meal that is very affordable in many cases lower cost than fast food chain restaurants when feeding a family of four. Stick to the NM dinner pack or Taco dinner pack and you can't go wrong. Also make some of the best breakfast burritos in town. Kid-friendliness: My kids love their tacos and enchiladas

I asked for and paid for extra cheese on my 2 tostadas. Does that tostada look like it has extra cheese? The lady making the food argued that the extra cheese was underneath. The cashier asked if I wanted her "to give you extra cheese", then charged me $1 for the little cup of extra cheese. What a scam they have going!!!!!
Amendment: recently I had the opportunity to speak to an upper management member of Little Anita‘s family. Turns turns out the cost for rebuilding their drive-through is fairly substantial. The cost that I can understand would be difficult to manage during Covid. He was sympathetic and understanding to the needs of his customers and they are working on a resolution. Therefore I am upgrading to four stars. Three stars is not how we would normally rate Little Anita‘s Mexican Foods. The staff has always been polite and conversational, food fantastic and never an error in our orders. For this the crew here deserves a full five stars! You all ROCK! However, for several months now the owners have neglected to maintenance the drive thru sign and speaker. We know things are not easy during COVID, but it seems that offering food in drive thru before trying to the window would be much more effective and efficient. We have resorted to calling ahead, but it removes the spontaneous stop to order food. Owners, take care of your equipment please so your customers can order food and your employees are provided the ability to be more effective.
We have never gotten bad food or bad service at this location. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Great food. Their carne adovada is amazing!!

Ordered thru drive thru,posole asked if it was served plain just posole,yes the employee said plain is what you want,ok I get my order,it had red Chile some type of meat,very little posole,its not ok not what I wanted,will not return or recFood: 2/5
