This place is very quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed playing basketball at the park and also rode my bike around this area from Chevy Chase. The park is open to the public for both children and adults.

Go to Rock Creed instead. This is of course nice but also short and ends in a fenced reservoir a boring mile and difficult access to Potomac.

Very flat, shaded.  Easy to get to capital crescent trail.  Main issue is just hard to figure out where to access/park
