Story

We serve Hershey's hand dipped and soft serve ice cream (made in Western Maryland) in cones or cups, sundaes and milkshakes.
Sandwiches include: grilled reubens, a great ciabata club, grilled cheese, chicken salad with pecans and cranberries, a veggie Mediterranean, a breakfast sandwich served all day, peanut butter and (fill in the blank) , BLT's, a Barnboli (pizza sandwich) and hot dogs are available as well as soup of the day and chili. There are several salads to choose from: Texas salad, chicken, club or red and green.
Enjoy a variety of coffees and espresso based drinks, as well as seasonal offerings at the Little Red Barn Ice Cream Café.
Take out, or dine in our cozy restored historic barn or out on the patio and watch Jefferson go by. If you are taking a walk through Jefferson it's a great place to stop for a treat. Also a nice place to stop when visiting Harper's Ferry, historic places in the area, tubing on the Potomac or at White Tail, or on the way home from work. We are right off 340 in Jefferson.

My kids favorite ice cream, my favorite BLT 😁 Great place, yummy food, fantastic staff. *Was my initial review* Initially, I gave them a 5 star rating but the last few times I went, there was an older woman there who you could tell was trying to be friendly at first but quickly lost it, ya know, cause you may have changed your mind mid order one time or something. She was inpatient and a little pushy. She just had a crappy attitude. I get that it's summer and you serve ice cream and it's busy.... but it's summer and you serve ice cream, of course it's busy. So get over it or don't work there. There is another girl there who acts like we're bothering her every time we come in. But there's a couple of really sweet friendly guys there who I applaud for working with such nasty women. I used to really like going there and kept going after the last 3 or 4 attitudes I got there, because everybody has a bad day. I won't hold it against you. But I keep running into these 2 and now it's just not worth it. And I'm very nice in return to their attitudes, which is kind of messed up. I will just respond with not giving them my business anymore.

This was an adorable little spot that my fiance and I happened upon when we made a wrong turn, and it was such a great "mistake". Good food, quick and pleasant service, adorable decor and good music. Would recommend!!!!

We accidentally ran into the Little Red Barn Ice Cream Shop after we went canoeing. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond for our order. My husband asked me if I had to choose between The Barn and Cold Stone, which would I choose. Little Red Barn won hands down. It's homie yet tasty!

Everyone was outside watering the gorgeous flowers. We pulled up and I took my obviously distressed daughter out and asked for a bathroom. The woman told me to go to the gas station, which we had tried and the bathroom was out of order. It was 10:25am, they opened at 11am and she couldn't be bothered to let a little girl use the restroom. Where I come from kindness goes a LONG WAY. I am the kind of person who sees a child needs a restroom immediately and would be more than happy to accommodate. Needless to say, won't EVER come or recommend this place to anyone.
