It was a ride from hell. On Saturday, April 7, 2018, I placed a call to L&M Taxi Service on Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC. The cab driver arrived but did not turn his meter on. I did not know his meter was not on until I was almost home. The meter is on the floor so the rider can not see if it is on or not. He charged me twice what I normally pay. In addition, he pulled over on Highway 295 so he could continue his phone call with Archie about a little league softball game. I asked if he could please take me home. Then he replied it will only take a minute because he had to take care of his call. I am in the back wondering why am I on the side of a busy highway as if we broke down. Next, I am in my driveway waiting for him to scan my credit card for payment. However, as he is holding my credit card, I am now forced to wait as he is talking to a lady named Carolyn. Now I am very upset and highly inconvenienced. Why did he come if he had so much to do on my tab. I interrupt his conversation due to I am tired of feeling held hostage. Violently he starts swiping my card. I began getting worried because of fear of him stripping my card. Then I told him I would go to the store up the street to get the money out the ATM machine. Please note I asked if the company could accept my form of payment when I placed the call. Guess what? Now I am walking in the rain and he does not offer a ride. He stays in my yard concluding his annoying phone calls. I ask for a discount due to he pulled me over on an extremely busy highway, held me hostage in his car, made me walk in the rain for payment and cost me more money due to I was charged an additional $3.50 for using an ATM that was not my banks. Therefore, instead of him charging me $29.70 he charged me $28.70 providing me a $1.00 discount. In short, the service cost me $32.20. If you are following me, he gave me a $1.00 discount and told me it was my fault. If you are thinking of calling this company do not; especially if you are a female. One more thing. I told him he provided me with a ride from hell and his reply was....I made it unpleasant. What a joke! I rate this company's service (negative) -5.0.

Was told 20 minutes and now hour and 27 minutes latter still waiting. And now no one will answer the phone.

It's very poor and pathetic service, I had a bus by 6:30 am and I have them a call By 5:40 am that I need a cab and they said it will reach by 6:05 am, But cab never reached and I missed my bus... Big time pathetic service... Pls don't recommend this taxi to anyone

Great service ..just make a call for service ...and he arrive at time.. Very friendly Accidently dropped my phone on way back ...and he came back to return it. Thanks.. I'll recomend it...

My husband and I were stuck in Fayetteville and needed a ride to Raleigh. It was after a snow storm so getting a rental car was out of the question. They were charging double the price. LM taxi arrived in about 15-20 min. I would definitely use them again. The driver was extremely nice. I do not have anything negative to say about our experience.
