I have been a happy auto insurance customer of Loiselle for a few years, so I was excited to change over to them for homeowners as well. I never thought it would be this difficult to give a company my business. It took a full month from my initial call to having a policy, with multiple follow up attempts from me. I initially called mid-September, quickly sent in the required info and heard nothing. Sent an email to check in after a week. Nothing. Called after two weeks and got a rapid response. Yet they had not even started looking for quotes. Got passed along to another agent and was told that I would get a call with quotes by the end of the week. Nope. He did call the following Monday and quickly produced a quote for me, got me what I needed, and I signed off via email. A week with no follow up at all. Called the following week. Apparently it had sat on his desk for that week but he did quickly wrap it up upon my call. Judging from how quickly they took the next step each time I called them, it seemed that nothing had been done in the interim and things only happened because of my followup. And I was leaving a week or more between each attempt to move things along. Not like I was calling everyday. I even had the mortgage company calling to let me know that I was in jeopardy of not having a policy since this dragged on so long.

I also requested a flood insurance quote on three separate occasions (my initial call mid-September, on the phone with the new agent, and via email over a week ago to both agents). Still no quote. It now looks like I will have to reach out a FOURTH time which is patently absurd. 

I am confused and disappointed at how very hard I had to work to get a policy and how much follow up I had to do (again, this is not because of a 2 or even 3 day silence, this is over a week of not hearing from them on multiple occasions. I used to enthusiastically refer people to Loiselle because of the competitive pricing and phenomenal customer service, but I can no longer do so.  I wasn't even going to write a negative review and just chalk this whole protracted experience up as a fluke, but then realized that I was still waiting for the flood insurance quote that they ensured I would have by...you guessed it...a full week ago!

Nothing but positive experiences. Nate Green is the best and the whole team takes the time to make sure you’re taken care of.  I walked in right at 5pm and they took care of my issue as they were about to leave for the day.
