Went in today ordered 2 # 9's which I wanted chicken and they gave me fish. Went right back in to tell them they gave me fish and i wanted fish now i had already paid 21 bucks for 2 meals they said they couldn't take my order back but they would gladly give me chicken and it would cost me another 6 bucks! So I paid the damn six bucks because I wanted chicken!!! Now there was no else there but me and my sister's how the hell do u hear fish when I asked for chicken???? This place is horrible I should have gone with the reviews but no I wanted long johns chicken which costed me 26 bucks!!!! I will be calling to make a compliant good thing I don't live in kerville but in San Antonio. The sad thing about this is I always stop there to eat and their service today just made them lose another customer

I hadn't had LJS in ten years. It's still awesome! You have to get the malt vinegar it just adds that extra zing to both fish and chicken. Long live the Silver!!

I went here on late Saturday afternoon. There were a couple cars in the parking lot but I chose to use the drive thru. There was one car in front of me and I don't know what they ordered but it took a really long time! Once I arrived at the window I got my order quickly. I was half way home when I realized they had not given me my drink. I ate some of the fries on the way home which were ok. The popcorn shrimp however is disgusting!!! The only reason I bit into a second one was to see if there was an actual shrimp in there. The hushpuppy was surprisingly tasty. I ate 1/2 of the fish sandwich and thankfully that was decent. Suffice it to say I will not be returning!! Ick!!!

Food is great and from our experiences with places around Kerrville, best customer service hands down. Clean dining area.

The food is good. The service is fast and friendly. The layout of the restaurant is kind of weird. One door for entry and a different one for exit instead of a double door or something. But the overall experience was decent.
