The only reason this longhorn is getting a 2 is because of the service. Caesar salad is horrible. More to come later.

We went to this Longhorn earlier this week on Halloween and actually walked out before ordering. When we asked if we could be seated in another quieter section the hostess said 'no that section is closed' even though it was 3/4 full, and stated 'we don't have enough servers for that section'. After being seated next to two men trying to talk over each other we asked again, only this time to the server. He started 'we are keeping those booths open for larger parties.' My wife and I looked at each other in dismay and said 'we'll go somewhere else.' The server walked away without saying anything and with a disgusted look on his face. Now, we have been Longhorn patrons for over 15 years, but decided to give them another chance tonight. Service was good, food was good, but I don't think the manager should be walking around the dining room with rolled-up sleeves. C'mon, Longhorn used to be a cut above. Over the past couple of years they have turned into a cut below.

I know what I'm talking about, I worked for Marriott hotels earlier in my career and s restaurant managers, we always wore a suit and tie. A little higher standards.

This is what you would expect when someone says mid-priced steakhouse (peanuts on the floor).  This is our favorite of this vein of steak houses though.  There are a lot of good options beyond the steak (the salmon is really good) and everything from start to finish is good (the salad is usually fresh- doesn't taste like it was just dumped from a bag).  The rolls are worth their own mention they are REALLY good.  I won't lie and say we have never taken a few home for breakfast the next day.

My favorite restaurant in all the world everything I've ever had is wonderful. But keep in mind it's very pricey the cheapest steak is like 18 bucks

A great steak restaurant with a variety of steak and surf options. I prefer the 18oz ribeye, but their filets, strips and other options are great as well. The shrimp boat os amazing. Very friendly staff, and great service. Clean and family friendly. Never had a complaint.
