Went there Saturday for my birthday. Had a wonderful experience & a great server Jeremy! Jeremy loves his job and you can tell by his big smile and attentiveness to your dining experience! Food was delicious, drinks were good & that Corn on the cob was amazing! Great addition to Algonquin! It is in the old Famous Dave’s location so it is not a huge place. 5 stars for sure!
We used to love Longhorn, and I’m not sure if it’s just this new location but things have gone down hill. Went for my husbands birthday dinner yesterday. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes for a server, who finally came over and took our order for everything all at once: appetizer, drinks, and meals. We then waited another 15 minutes 30 minutes in total now just to get water. We were served our appetizer before we even got a glass of water, that we DID ask for more than once. Took 20 minutes to receive our drinks from the bar. Our food came out pretty quickly, but I could tell even from the outside of the steak that it was cooked incorrectly. It looks dry and shriveled. I had ordered my steak medium. What I got was closer to well done. It was dry and chewy and flavorless. Barely any visible pink at all. We informed the waitress and she just stared at us like she didn’t understand. Not to mention, we had asked for refills on water twice during all this time and she never came back with water. I understand if you are short servers or over seated and busy, but the service has to come eventually and when it does, it would help if she were actually even polite. Extremely disappointed in the service we had at this location today.
Oh my Gosh..went out on a date with the hubby, been sick and haven't been out in a long time. Decided to try some place new! Soooo glad we did.. Hubby says these are the best ribs he's ever had, they fall off the bone, the bbq sauce is great! My Flo filet was extremely tender, and the flavor was absolutely delicious! The shrimp-lobster chowder, I'll be honest..wasn't sure I'd like it, but man I would go just for a bowl of it! You have to go here and enjoy! Service was great, drinks never ran empty!
Service was great for a large group like ours. 11 total people and we got 2 servers all night. Menu was full of options. The overriding factor of all the meals was way too much salt. Especially on the stakes and burgers.
Amazing steaks. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly as instructed. You get to taste the longhorn seasoning, the meat is juicy and melts in your mouth. Prices are amazing for what you're getting. Drinks are sweet and refreshing. Worth the visit.
We had to wait a little, went to the bar to get a drink, bartender, only one on a busy Friday night?! He was a little overwhelmed. He did come chat with us when things settled down. We got seated and everything went great, food was great, the Outlaw Ribeye was perfect, service with a smile and great attitude. Really like the decor and atmosphere! See you again soon!
This place has a great looking bar and dining room. Attended their ribbon cutting and while there enjoyed a bite of steak and a number of their appetizers. The appetizers are huge.
Finally one closer to home! I tend to dine into the Rosemont location a lot and now will be here too, lol They always have great steaks and drinks. Great amazing service, super clean and huge location. Definately will keep coming back.
Tasty dinner - cooked our steaks perfectly! Never had a restaurant actually cook my husband’s steak rare before… usually turns out medium.
I know the service industry is suffering, but I'm going to write an honest review. 1. We added our names to the wait list before we got there, still waited about 15 minutes. Which is fine, but there was no where to actually wait. 2. We were seated as a family of 4 in teeny both. My kids couldn't help but spill their drinks all night because the table was so small. Clearing plates was troublesome. And the servers continued to bring food to the table with no where to put it. 3. Our order was wrong several times. My husband's steak was under cooked, and when we sent it back, instead of a new steak, they continued cooking the old steak and brought it back out. That was just, wow. Food was forgotten and we had to ask several times for our drinks, to go boxes, napkins, and water. 4. 10/10 do not recommend ordering adult beverages. I had a mango margarita,, my husband ordered an old fashioned. My margarita was spilled before I could actually drink it. My husband's old fashioned was the worst we've ever had. We couldn't drink it. 5. Our server did his best, but it was busy and he couldn't keep up with his tables. I felt bad for continuing to ask for things, but like we couldn't get a meal at one time. The hostess, front end manager was less than pleasant. 6. The food was good. It's hard to find places we all like, and if we'd had a better experience we'd frequent this place because the good was really good. Unfortunately, the environment was awful, the service was below average, and it just wasn't comfortable.
