This location is conveniently located in the Detroit Metro Airport. It was clean and a relaxing place to grab a bite to eat between flights. The staff was excellent and quick getting orders out due to the fact people might be short on time. Our waitress Pamela was fun, kind and very efficient. Definitely recommend stopping here of your on a layover. Food was excellent and 5 star.
I gave 4 stars for service because of the wait for service after I was seated, not because the server wasn't awesome. She earned a $20 tip. But it was a busy airport so maybe it's not even fair. As for atmosphere, good all the way around, but still a busy airport, I don't think it's possible to get 5 stars though, again, not because the owners/staff weren't awesome. The food was off the hook!!! Delicious and perfectly done per my desires.

I ordered the grilled chicken and strawberry salad. It was a nice large salad and all of the ingredients were very fresh. My waitress was an absolute sweetheart and provided excellent service. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and there were several menu options available for me to choose from.

Service was good,food was great..came right on time it was really nice,but fyi,if you order a steak be prepared to do a little arm work because they don't have steak knives,they use butter knives says it's a safety issue for being in the airport...see some of my reviews for little tips like this one.
My hostess and server were fantastic. Couldn’t have done it better myself. However the steak and mashed potatoes….. I certainly could’ve done better myself. The potatoes were undercooked under mashed and over buttered. Not to mention the puddle of butter on top that wasn’t necessary except to save the dry steak. I ordered medium rare and at best it was rare plus. I’d consider my steak rare. Which is okay for me but most would see that RED not pink, more red. Not raw but rare I know my steaks and they’d return to avoid food poisoning. I know I can eat it but it should’ve been cooked properly. And now even though I can still eat and enjoy a rare plus dry steak, I’m very confused how the steak is undercooked and dry? Also VERY CHEWY and under seasoned. A little salt and garlic butter could saved the steak and some patience with the boiling potatoes would’ve helped a lot. No one likes lumpy mashed potatoes.
Pretty good! Neither of us got the steak I got the chicken sandwich and my coworker had chicken fingers. Everything tasted awesome and was fairly priced for airport food. Service was fast and friendly, and the actual inside was pretty good. Didn't blow my mind, but it was a good choice for the evening!
We stopped at the location in Detroit Airport between flights. I told my waitress I wanted a steak that was hot red inside, but not raw. I asked if they classified it as Rate or Medium Rare at your restaurant. They manager came out because the wait staff didn't understand. After explaining it to the manager again, I was served a tough steak that was cooked medium/medium-well. I asked again and they brought the cook this time. I again told him that I wanted a steak that was hot red juicy interior, but not raw inside and asked how they classified that at Longhorn Steakhouse. The second sirloin came out raw, doughy and so raw it couldn't be cut. I ended up only having the cup of loaded potato soup. They took the price of the steak off the bill and billed me for the coke and full price for a bowl of soup. The soup was a side with the steak on the order. My husband got to eat his burger meal, but I ended up going down to Chick-Fil-A to get meal. It was very disappointing for a Steakhouse. I expected more from Longhorn Steakhouse. I ended hungry until the next morning because we had a late flight and everything was closed at Orlando Airport. I hope this is an exception and not the norm for your restaurants.
Hostess was not very friendly, but the server was fantastic. Food came out fresh and hot and rather quickly. I got the salmon with rice, my husband got a chicken dish with rice. I would definitely go there again if I was flying through this airport and had time to.Food: 5/5
