The food was delicious! Our waitress was attentive and knew the menu well both food and drinks. Great place for family or a dinner date. I ordered two cocktails offered on the menu. They were good, but I prefer cocktails where I can taste the alcohol. Will definitely come back and try other appetizers and entrees. Parking: The restaurant is located at the Veranda which is usually busy.
This place is awesome. I randomly stumbled across the place at a conference and enjoyed it so much I came back the next night. The fried oysters were huge and delicious, just the right about of saltiness to them. The spicy fried cod and French fries were also really good. The second night the salt and pepper calamari was awesome, nice breading to it. The cioppino was insane, probably the best cioppino I've had. There was not a single piece of overcooked fish. I could have just taken a straw and drank up the broth I bet that broth would make a mean bloody mary. If you find yourself within 80 miles of Concord CA, check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
Want to give 5 stars great food but I feel like it is a bit overpriced for the quality, quantity of food and ambiance. Went for Easter brunch and not crowded at all. Clam Chowder was mostly potatoes - boo. Good service and did well with modifications.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Found this place by looking through IG! My BFF and I made reservations because on the website it is suggested AND most brunch places have 1-2 hour waits. We each made a reservation, one for inside and ine for outside and depending on the weather, we'd choose on the day of. When I arrived yo check-in my reservation could not be found but my friend's could. It wasn’t busy at all, so it worked out. We ordered some shrimp taquitos that were amazing! I would recommend at least two orders of these. I had French Toast and wanted to try the cornbread. The French Toast was okay, I've had better, and the cornbread was good. We each had a drink or two, but the talk of our meal was the taquitos I'll be back for those!
Wow, amazing. They have a $1.50 fresh oyster special on Mondays. Definitely recommend. We started with 6 oysters but ended up with 16 and fried calamari. Plus a Long Island drink. Definitely good stuff. Totally recommend. Alex the bartender took care of us. Was extremely helpful. Thanks Alex!
Was surprised with the food and service after reading some reviews here. I enjoyed the food. I got some calamari and fish and chips and I really like the seasoning on the fries. The fish and calamari where both tasty and crispy. Family enjoyed what they got, the service was good and I will be going back. Some downsides I saw there was all the servers seem to be running back and forth and it had me kind of anxious watching them and it was super cold in there.
The shrimp flautas appetizer amazing. The Irish coffee cocktail amazing. The service? Amazing. Pricey for sure, but really good.
The black garlic noodles were gross. Could only eat my shrimp because the noodles were undercooked and drenched in sauce, too much flavor. Ruined the dish in my opinion. I will return to try something else next time I'm sure this restaurant has great options, this just wasn't it.Food: 1/5
Have you ever regretted being full? It was really, really good! Good cuisine is in the details...and they hit on all points. I got the fish and chips, and it was perfect. I can't wait to come back.
