I was in Mammoth for 5 nights stay, motorcycle trip from WA State. I had coffee here every morning. The guy and gals here were friendly and made a very nice Vanilla Latte for me each morning and apple turnover. I love supporting a private coffee shop compared to the nasty green corporate place...

Store is great but the people with their dogs are a bit out of control! Well behaved dogs and owner great! Owners who can't or won't leash or control their animals, boo.

Very comfortable feel and really nice staff. I had the Cheese Danish which was amazing and the vanilla latte which was kind of bland. Overall I would come back but probably order another drink.

My husband and I visit Mammoth every summer, and Looney Bean is my go to for coffee every time. Now I got my parents hooked too.

Love this place. We walked in and the smell of fresh tasty coffee welcomed us. I went for the Looney Latte - a vanilla latte with dark chocolate covered coffee beans, it was delicious! The ambiance is warm and cozy and the staff is friendly and competent. A must go when you're around Mammoth Lakes!
