I asked the snowboard attendant renting demos today to help me. He only brought one demo as if it was the best on earth, all scraped up like I would be led to buy one from that experience. I asked for a board that didn't have a picture of a jungle on it, as if I might want to buy what I demo. But he just stared blankly. I asked him to make some comparisons for me, and he slid another board over and said their you go. The lodge is much more helpful, go to Main Lodge for demos. It's called sales, dude, and you have to pull one off sometimes.

Not the best selection for little kids, but I do understand were in Mammoth. Good selection for adults. As for customer service, when it's the unmotivated employees working... I would suggest going elsewhere. It was like pulling strings strings to buy a pair of shoes when my cash was falling out of my pocket. I went here and purchased multiple times when in Mammoth. I would suggest other places before going here to buy as the shop is not as put together as one would expect with service. Sorry not my go-to place in Mammoth.

The best snowboard equipment available, with a staff that can answer any of your questions, from technical stuff to where to ride on a given day. Plus free wax for your board! We drop off our boards for tune-ups after riding and they are done by 7:30am the next morning for pickup. We just went in to buy a replacement lens that jumped off on Chair 25. After asking for the specific lens that was lost, the counter guy (sorry, forgot his name) recommended another lens...since then, my wife has used this lens far more often than the one she replaced. Thanks guy whose name we cannot recollect.. If you need it or want it, Wave Rave will provide it.

Always my 1st stop in Mambo. Comprehensive selection and good deals. You are supporting boarders not corporate entities.

***** BE CAREFUL****** Me and my family have rented our gear from this store for 8 years! And this year a girl tried to rip off my husband. When my husband was checking out one of our family members noticed that she changed him $80....when it was $20. My husband ask the girl for the recipient and she said she couldn't print it. So my husband went on his phone and check how much he was charged. And yup he was charged $80. My husband then shows the girl and she couldn't saying anything just look at him like she just got caught. Turns out the girl charged him $80 because she pocketed $60 of him money by doing a cash back and keeping his money. It's lukcy for her that my husband is a forgiving man! Or we would have reported this to the police. But they have definitely lost me and familys business . Definitely not the way we wanted to start off our yearly trip.
