I always enjoy my visits to the metro parks. This visit was in Wellington on Labor Day and was to introduce my friend to the paddle boats. It was great fun. Then we chatted with a family about rocks we had each found. 
I don't think I have ever met someone at the park that didn't respond in a friendly manor.

Didn't know this place even existed, but we did a 3.6 mile loop in horseback.  Very flat, well groomed trails.  Nice for relaxing conversation a d bird watching.  Good beginners trails, not very challenging.

Nice and clean Reservoir is huge nice fishing on the river side also caught a 19-inch catfish. We will be back

Great walking trails, paddle board and play ground for smaller children. Good for dog walking
