The Los Altos Branch Staff is very helpful and they are very committed to helping all their clients. It is located in the middle of a middle class neighborhood with several public and private schools nearby. It is a busy branch and children of all ages are served. Families with preschool thru high school children frequent the branch. It is a family friendly branch. Visiting CSULB students need to understand the culture of the branch and make plans accordingly. Perhaps the CSULB or Long Beach City College  libraries would better meet the needs  of students seeking a "quiet" library to study.

Better than Dana Branch. Still a lot of noisy kids. Not coming here again to study too loud.
