A bit disappointed with my experience here. I had to get a fix-it ticket signed off (tint), so I came here after watching a car auto detail center painstakingly scrape off the tint from my two front windows. Deputy V. didn’t think they removed all the ‘layers’ and asked that I go back and get a receipt to prove what they did and have them work a little harder. I spent half my day going back and forth twice to each place and had to get a babysitter to be able to send time to do this. Just wish she was a little more knowledgeable about what newer manufactured windows look like in newer cars so I didnt have to waste so much time :(. Before I left she said “don’t be surprised if you get pulled over again,” since she still thought it was dark. By the way I’m aware I shouldn’t have had such dark tint and totally intended to get it taken off anyways but still sucks.

Our family has had and viewed a number of interactions with Sheriff Department personnel. In each instance the officers have acted promptly and professionally. We give the Lomita Department a firm 10 and are quite willing to discuss the details of these incidents with any interested party.

April 16th 2018 regarding april15th 2018/: Abuse of power, poorly trained officers or simoly neglihent ,lack of understanding of people with a disability even when told about it , discriminatuin,intimidating an injured party who even disnt call them yet the offender (self admitted as well ) ina traffic incident (which was not the smallest as a matyer of fact and I compare to all incidents I ve seen and been in in my 30 years of driving )again the vasue of the incodent was wreckless driivng of a daughter of a former police officer and he miight have been a a great officer but his fsughter was not a good examole of what a diaghter of a policeman should be her name is Linda Allen and she is a rwsident of lomita she rear ended my car while iwas in car stationary parked and she did it while backing out howvere distance was plenty to stop instead she had oressed massovely on gas and only stopped after my car jolted few inches forward from her hitting my car. Officer who she called after convicning me not to call police acting all very concerned about me didnt give me his name nor her name as all I oeiginaklly wantwd from her eas not to leave me as I had felt so jolted and diorineted I had hot my head and had whiplash ) was her name (before he came ) .I will edit this later on and add. Ore info lets see if anything happens to me down the road I have clean backgorund used to have close to almost highest clearance in the country and have perfect driving record ig anything happnea to me eother further strange inury either physical or to my vharacter anyone who knows me will be aware I wrote this review of a very corrupted un professional,power abuaing police department of lomita .again I will edit text and add much morw details on this and correct my typos.my name was put in a police report my name was obtained form plate of car and I didnt even k ow a polcoe report was prodiced where it said no damage to my car polce officer refused to guve his name when i aporcahed his car afyer he let other party go (??...)I said I dint want deal with police but I neber said I dint want her name I said I wasnt interwsted filong a claim abkut the car. Ut iwasnt feelong well I repeetweaed that clearly multiole times .I was harssed and bulkied by officer on scene and the daughter of former policeman who called police manipulated the whole thing by prigibally convixning me not call police as she took all my attention by being so concerned about me and offering ANY HELP and ues I needed someone as I ahd Ben jomted rather well my car was stationary !!!!HERS WAS MOVING WITH FULL GAS BACKWARSA ONTO MINE EVEN IT WASNT 30 MILES OER HOUR OR 50 MY CAR WAS STAIONARY THTA CAN AVTULALY PRODUCE I JRURIES RESILTING IN DEATJ TO THOSE INVHARGE OF RHIS POLCE DEPARNEMT WHO TOLD ME THIS WASMT MURDER .I HOPE WHEN LINDA ALLEN KILLES SOMEONE BY ERROR OF COURSE AS SHE S JUST DAYDDRAMING WHILE DRIVING THAT SHE DOEANT MANIPULATE ANOTHER HIT AND RUN WHIVH CHE BASICLALLY DID WITH ME

I have called twice in the last few weeks to report non-emergency situations. The first time I called was because someone just dropped their children (3 children ages 8-10) off at the park and just left them there. I was there with my son for over an hour and no one came back to pick up the kids. Whoever I talked to was incredibly unhelpful. He was asking me if there were other adults there and how I knew that they were unattended. It was obvious because no one interacted with them the entire time they were there. I still don't know if they checked it out. I went back myself to check and the kids were gone, so I can only hope they made it home ok. I called again tonight because there has been a whistling sound since before 8 p.m. and it's 1 a.m now. The officer said, "I don't know what law enforcement can do for you". I mentioned the noise ordinance and he said, "Well if it's a machine, I don't know who would be responsible for that". I sincerely hope they are more helpful in the event of actual emergencies. Otherwise, there is absolutely no point in calling them. They won't do $&*%.

I still can't believe what the female latino officer said "do you want to go to jail? If you don't tell me your friend's contact who can come pick you up you have to go to jail" after the neighbor called 911 for the physical violence my ex done to me. She said since she can't give me a ride back home (this happened in my ex car on 5 a.m. Monday June 12th) she has to call someone and illegally took my phone contacted random people. I asked her politely to get my phone back because I felt uncomfortable watching for going through my phones while (she's supposed to be) just charing my phone from her car. And she said if I want to go to jail. The latino short male officer also extremely unprofessional. I'm concerned about the legal boundaries that they overrun as authoritarians. Constantly chatting about their personal live next to the victim, joking and laughing, so quick to judge that I was lying based on the offender's testimony, they were the worst cops I ever met.
