If I could rate this taco truck 10 out of 5 stars I would. I haven't had food like this in years, I'll definitely be stopping by every day I can for lunch. If you are looking for a truly authentic food experience, please don't hesitate to stop by. The owner is super friendly, food is amazing, very easy to get to road-wise, there is absolutely no down side to eating here. I live 25-30 minutes away, and I'll definitely be bringing my girlfriend out here. I would happily drive 45 minutes one way to eat here, it's JUST THAT GOOD
Los Lagos Taqueria is legit. Their Mexican food is really tasty. Great service along with great food is always a plus in my book. My wife and I ordered 3 tacos de carne asada and 3 tacos de al pastor and it was really good. Their hottest red chili salsa is probably one of the hottest salsas we've had with tacos. Even the owner of the food truck warned us. On a side note, if you are craving chicken wings, this is the place to go. You'd be surprised how tasty their wings are. Perfectly cooked, and hot. We always ask for extra crispy and as spicy as they can make it, and trust me they are hot and flavorful. Best wings around, considering it's Mexican food. I would highly recommend this food truck. Also they only take cash, just a heads up.
I so looked forward to having Los Lagos Taqueria Food Truck to be a part of my fair. BUT they never showed up and I didn't receive a reason why. No call, no show, no future business. Very unprofessional and a big disappointment.

I'll start with the good. Their tacos are really tasty if you get their Asada, Pollo, or pastor. With that being said, the first time I went here was over a year ago and I got a Barbacoa burrito. This burrito was actually inedible. It was so salty that I had assumed that there was some comical accident where a salt shaker fell off of a shelf and tainted the batch of Barbacoa. I decided to just not go back after that. Recently, I found myself in a pinch where all my usual Mexican restaurants were closed in the area. As I was driving home I noticed they were open and decided it was a perfect opportunity to give this place another chance. My pastor taco was delicious, but my gf and I found the quesadilla unreasonably. However, my biggest issue came down to the fact that most of the meat and the salsa tasted overly of clove. Now I know this a personal taste thing and that clove is often present in Mexican food, but the salsa tasted closer to a Christmas dish than a salsa. There are much better tacos in Lafayette.

Nice people, great food. They had a payment issue so I had the run to the ATM next-door. They rewarded my extra effort with a delicious free taco. Works for me!
