Louisiana Workforce Commission has the worst customer service I have ever delt with. It's 48 minutes and I am still on hold. If I try to call back it's still the same outcome.

First of all I want to say that my LAWORKS experience has been way beyond 5 Stars because of the professional, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I need to acknowledge Miss Cheryl Vidrine and Miss Donna Tennyson for every question that they answered and every direction that they sent me for my present claim. These 2 individuals are the very cornerstones to which LAWORKS should be founded on. Their knowledge, customer service skills, experience and problem solving skills are superior to most personnel anywhere. I was made to feel as though I was much more than a number and a claim by these 2 caring and empathetic LAWORKS individuals. I would gather to say that they made sure that I had all of my I's dotted and T's crossed before I left LAWORKS. When I first walked in I was lost and didn't know where to turn and after I left I truly felt that I was heading in the right direction and the glass was way more than half full. These 2 individuals really need to be recognized and acknowledged for the jobs that they do and the help that they give. I am so appreciative and thankful that I had and still have these 2 gifted, smart and caring serving me honorably as I also served these United States in the Military.

The absolute worst. In the past month no one has responded to my 4 emails or 2 voicemails in regards to an overpayment. In addition, you'll spend at least an hour on the phone before anyone ever answers, if they even do. Then they'll just take your number and say someone will call you back. You never actually get to speak to anyone helpful. I wish I never would have even applied for unemployment. The amount of time I've spent dealing with these people and issues, I could have spent looking for a job/working. It's a complete waste of time and everyone in this office is highly incompetent.

Budget cuts are not an excuse for 77 minute wait time for a 2 minute call.

What happened to calling a business and a person answers the phone?? It would be less painful pouring molten metal in your ear than calling the LWC and listening to the prompts that will be a revolving door of automated madness. And dont press wrong key twice or it will hangup on you.
