Very nice campground. Nice sites premium sites have a poured patio and also patio furniture. We stopped one night coming home from Disney. Close enough to re- winterize the camper again. This would also be a good destination campground!

I've stayed at a few KOA campgrounds in various cabins or RV spots. This was the nicest, most well kept one I've seen. Our cabin was immaculate and it seemed no expense was spared in the construction. The outdoor furniture is made of Rex, virtually indestructible! They've really got it together here and we will gladly stay here again. My only suggestion for improvement would be to put markers on the road with the number of the cabin or site to make it easier to find in the dark upon arrival.

The only place to stay in greater Louisville. The staff was extremely helpful. We had full hook up with 50 AMP. We stayed five nights as we had an event in Louisville. Not close to downtown especially during rush hour. Bathroom were clean and the campgrounds were kept nicely. Many activities for kids should that be the case. The place was a bit on the expensive side but being the only game in town it is supply and demand. We have stayed here before and will likely return.

I have been in this campground for over a year and a half, some of the reviews have merit but most of them I really can't see being valid. If you read all of the campground rules and regulations and follow them there is no problem. Most of the sites are level (yes some are not but it's a campground not a Wal-Mart parking lot), you should always be prepared with leveling blocks and wheel chocks etc. As for the pool it was great I used it all summer long, the only time i was asked to vacate was when a bad storm rolled in. I'm not sure about a hot tub that someone mentioned I'm yet to find it , I hear they had one long long time ago.. before the wind before the snow... maybe someone confused a ditch with water in it for a hot tub ( this will happen when you have to many giggly pops in front of a campfire). The campground has a nice park for kids to play in with a bouncy pillow and equipment. On hot days they bring out a slip and slide and usually have other activities for kids to do on weekends. The big screen movie is always nice on saturday night in the park. They are very dog friendly as long as you clean up after them, they even have a fenced in dog park with activities for active dogs. If you need some groceries and want to pay double for convenience then shop at the store on site ( this is standard for all campgrounds). If you want to save money go to the entrance of the campground, Turn right Go 0.2 miles and look on your right there is a store called Dollar General (Who knew a place like this existed!! ),You could even walk there if you wanted to , its right behind the main office. There is also a kroger and wal-mart just over the i65 if you need speciality items less than 2 miles away. I will admit that from time to time you will hear a UPS plane fly over head but when you have your ac running or furnace (depending on weather) you can't hear anything but that, if you listen carefully sometimes you can hear your neighbor's singing to music on the radio (highly entertaining) . Nightly pricing is a bit much but if you join the koa club program you can save money while you camp or have served your country and get a Vets discount. My only major gripe about the campground is the price of propane, @$5 a gallon which works out to just about $1/pound you will not like the final bill when you fill up 2- 30lb tanks, I guess this is due to a small tank and inconvenience to delivery drivers to fill up. If your willing to drive 15 minutes, go to the TSC on dixie highway , they charge per gallon and it has been $2.09/gallon for the last few months ( claimed to be cheapest in ky). There is also a kroger right next door so get your grocery at the same time. The maintenance staff and front office are very friendly ,prompt and helpful. Over all I am glad that I have chosen this as my campground, it has everything I need and if there is a problem they take care of it by priority. I have no use for any of the facilities on site, if the bathrooms are dirty or a dirty object left behind it was the person using the facility before you! They have always been clean if I've been out for a walk and stopped in for a quick pit stop. Winter time can be tricky in a camper or RV, the winter of 2017/2018 has been very cold and pipes will freeze , be patient and be prepared with heated hoses and skirting if your staying long term. Common sense really isn't that common these days... Happy camping!
