Had a great time. Fantastic customer service. We even received a refund for one night (we had to leave earlier than planned due to family emergency) but while we were there everything was great. With Flippers next door, you got a awesome place to eat right there. Close to all kind of activities: parks, beaches, boat rides, nature. The only things that could be counted as "cons" were the internet not working (but we wanted to get away from everything for a couple of days, so this was actually a plus) and the next door "neighbors" were loud sometimes and kept burning things (we could smell it, ugh) but that's just bad luck, not the hotel's fault. Nonetheless, already planning to go back in September! We loved it.

Terrible customer service!!!! Let's see.... first off, my wife and I checked in on the day of our small wedding at the state park. At first the receptionist seemed genuinely happy for us. This all changed when we got back to our room after our celebration and was locked out! Nobody on duty at the desk except a emergency # to call. I'm glad we called 5 times with no answer. My new wife and I had to sleep in our car for the night( what a great first night of marriage). In the morning when I told them what happened, nobody even cared. She said there's a number for emergencies. Not even a sorry or anything. Got new key cards.... what do you know? Those didn't work either, so here I go again to talk to her and all I got was new cads thrown at me with no explanation. We actually got to sleep in our room the next night. Check out time is 11 am. We decided to take a load of luggage down at 10am. Took a walk around the grounds then went back to get the rest of our stuff. Got back to our room around 1030. What do you know? Our door is wide open and they are cleaning already! With the rest of our belongings in the room. The "resort " is beautiful, however, the customer service is piss poor. If you stay there you will want to return to your room to see if you can sleep in it before you get locked out and it's tough luck for you. Just a fair warning. I've read in past reviews that this had happened in the past. I feel it's totally un acceptable for any of this to happen especially with no compassion. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone until they have a better plan in place when things like this happen. Good luck!!!

I love taking my charter guests up here to Flippers on the Bay. The food is great and the view is fantastic. My guests are always so pleased that I recommend whenever I can.

The beautiful grounds with beautiful trees and flowers is absolutely breathtaking. The entrance  and hallways are immaculate.  Our condo was clean and the view and sunset from the balcony was so calming. Lovers Key is the place we always come back to.
