Purchased 2 washers 2 dryers, fridge and we are getting ready to have our shades and fence installed from Lowes. I also bought a very nice Weber Grill from them. Here is why I will only buy large appliances and purchases like them at Lowes I once purchased something expensive from Lowes that did not work for me, after they had put it together and delivered it. I realized it would not work for me a day later. So what did Lowes do? Switched it out for one that would work no questions asked and NO STRESS. Thank you Lowes!!!!

Bought a washing machine from the Waynesboro Va Lowes on 11 /21/17. They said they would deliver on 11/25 /17 .They went to the back and ensured me they had one in stock. I sat home all day today waiting for delivery. They didnt call or show up . So I called them and it turns out they sold my washmachine to someone during their black friday sales and have no more in stock. They set a new delivery date for me of Sat Dec 2nd. I said no and had to go and get a refund. I went to homedepot and ordered a wash machine. I basically bought a wash machine from Lowes and they sold it to somebody else. Never again will I buy another appliance from Lowes.

I have been to the Lowes store in Staunton (twice) and Waynesboro, and even checked online at the Harrisonburg looking for a 15 amp, 120 volt 3 wire grounding connector (item #423055) and no one has it in the store. The bin is there right next to the male connectors, but no female connectors to be found. I can order and have UPS deliver for $5.99 for a $5.38 item. Sad.

It was just like all of the other Lowes. Clean and friendly. My last experience was by far over the top. I had a huge floor order. They went over the top to get the order out, paid and loaded into my vehicle. They even missed a piece and made sure that I got properly reimbursed.

I miss the old days when this Lowe's excelled in customer service, back when every employee could either tell you where something was located or would find someone who could. Today, I was told "either aisle 27 or 29." It was neither. Thanks anyway. I'll shop elsewhere. 😞
