Personally I think Home Depot is out doing some other stores in this area , PERSONNEL are kind helpful in finding what you are looking for,  and if you want to browse you can and if they donot have it they are not afraid to tell you where you can get it  in fact  
They will try to Special ORDER FOR YOU .

I don't live very close to a Home Depot but I was in the area and had a gift card from X-Mas so I stopped in..I usually go to Lowes just because of the distance but I'd pick Home Depot over Lowes any day! GREAT customer service and much more to chose from item wise!

This place deserves 5 stars- everyone is extremely friendly and helpful... even on Black Friday!  They have better deals than Lowe’s sometimes, I usually cross check sales.  We insulated our crawl space for about $100 cheaper on supplies here than at Lowe’s.

Everything is relative, and relative to the Lowes monopoly over the mountain, this store kills it.  The friendly staff takes the cake and the selection isn't bad.  Home Depot honchos--please open a store in Charlottesville and end the tyranny of Lowes' bad attitudes and warped lumber.  Competition is healthy.
