On Friday I made an online purchase for an over the range microwave from Lowe’s in Simi Valley. Lowe’s already took the money from my account, but five minutes after I made the purchase I got a call that stated they did not have the item in stock so they were going to cancel the sale. I have never received an email that confirmed the transaction had been canceled nor have I received a refund so I called. I spoke to a young lady Kelsey who checked the stock and said she showed the transaction canceled and it should take 24 hours for the money to return to my account. 24 hours later Lowe’s still has my money and I have not received and email, or a refund? To top it off the sales associate said she would look into the transaction deeper and call me back however, she NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH!! I will never shop at Lowe’s again and here I thought I would get better service there than I would at HOMEDEPOT, but clearly I was wrong! Lowe’s I would like my money back please!

All of the Lowe's that I've been in seem to be set-up in the same format; so if you frequent the store it's easy to know where to go looking for what you want. Finding someone who works there in a particular department may take a little more effort, as staff is in much shorter supply. Most stuff there seem to be priced reasonably.

I find Lowe's to be better stocked than their competitor and better variety and better quality material at the same prices.
