Sadly, I can only mirror the reviews of those who've reviewed already. This is a convenient location (one star), which is why I'd much prefer this rating to be higher. But the poor customer service and lack of employee knowledge provides a pretty bad experience. Furthermore, I think there are some corporate policies that either need refinement or need to be clearly passed through to the associates. I had an experience this past week as I browsed multiple items and one item in particular, I knew was available at a neighboring Best Buy for $80 less. There was an associate in the aisle and I showed it to him, at which point he assured me they would price match it at the register. GREAT! So, I took it to the register and "provided a copy of the competitors digital advertisement" (per the Lowe's Price Match Guarantee Policy). The girl seemed confused, asked her neighboring cashier, called to various numbers to no avail - at which point a bit of a line is beginning to pile behind me. I hate holding people up, so I'm ready to let it go at this point. But she switches her light off and walks off to go find someone who can help. So, I stand there apologizing to those behind me. Finally, she comes back and says "We don't honor clearance prices." I was a bit dumbfounded and asked her to look at the digital advertisement again and verify that it didn't say "clearance" anywhere. It simply said that it was "On Sale". So, she persisted that they were the same thing and they wouldn't honor it. At this point, I just decided I would go to the Best Buy and it was no sense trying to understand where the disconnect between the policy and the employee was. But I did have to ask her one last thing - "Your policy asks that the customer bring in an advertisement from the competitor. Do you know what they normally put on those advertisements?.... SALES!" I thought it was kind of funny, I'm not sure she got it. But hey, I hear the employees at Home Depot have a pretty good sense of humor. Oh, and the second star was that there was a Target in the same shopping center. Love that place.

UPDATE: Last weekend I experienced an interaction with one employee, who single handed turned this 1-star review into a 3-star one with her excellent service. She went out of her way to identify a hard to find item, made sure it was exactly what I needed AND find a lift to get the last one off an upper shelf. Not even her department! Give this woman a promotion, much of the rest of the staff could learn from her! OLD REVIEW Just to be clear, this review is specifically for this Lowe's location, not the company as a whole or website. This Lowe's stands out only because of how bad it is compared to every other Lowe's location I have been to. The employees actively avoid interacting with customers; preferring to talk among themselves, hold personal telephone conversations and even occasionally reversing direction in an aisle when you attempt to approach one. If you are fortunate enough to corner an employee, there is only a small chance they know where/what you are looking for. They will grunt an aisle number, shrug and try to disengage as quickly as possible. They will NOT actually help you find it as they seem to have better things to do. Staff here rarely brings lumber/construction carts back inside the building, instead letting them pile up in the parking lot for customers to have to retrieve themselves. With that other major store not far away, you'd think they'd try just a tiny bit harder. In short, the only reasons to go to this location are 1) You know exactly what you need and where it is in the store (with the exception of lumber, which is so bad, you will have to discard 4 out of 5 pieces you dig through) or 2) You can't spare just a few minutes to drive 3 miles to their competitor.

I was looking to purchase granite countertops so I looked on their website first (which turned out to be useless) then I decided to go to the store. Upon arriving I was told that the person who sales the granite countertops does not work on the weekends. They only work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday when most normal people are working. The samples they had around didn’t have prices on them so I couldn’t figure out which one to choose so I will be taking my business elsewhere. There’s never anyone there to help. IN STORE OR ONLINE.

It's handy to my house and has most of what I want. The service is friendly but inadequate. They're often understaffed and it's hard to get someone to help but they try hard to help when they're available. In my recent visit they sent across the store to another section where the employee told me to go back and I never found what I the item I needed something from the cage and the employee never came back but the cashier was quick to get it when I was checking out.

It's the best service, and it's the worst service. It is a tale of two extremes. There are times I have had them do an appliance install and it was wonderful. Most recently, it was dismal, dishwasher was in stock, a Bosch. I had to call them and email them multiple times after 10 days had passed. Finally, they contacted the contractors and it was installed. They are now on my list of will only use them if I have no alternative.
