Do not order things online from Lowes. I ordered two different kinds of vanity lighting from Lowes in December. The lights were estimated to arrive in store at the end of December. After waiting until January, I finally called the store to see if the lights had arrived. They said they had. I was supposed to receive a call or email when they arrived, so strike one against the store. When I arrived at the store (mind you, I made a special 40-mile trip just for the purpose of picking up these lights), I waited around for at least 15 minutes while an employee tried to find the lights. Only one of the lights had arrived. The other kind of light, of which I had ordered two, was not there. So strike two, since I had been told on the phone that my order was all in. Then, they informed me that the lights were on backorder and would not be shipped until the middle of March. Which means that after already having waited a month, I would not still not get the lights for at least another two. Isn't that something that a customer should be made aware of before even purchasing an item? And then, I received no communication at all about this fact until I came to the store to pick them up. I asked why I had not been informed of this, and the employee said it was because I ordered them online. That is not even a reason! Suffice it to say, I will NOT be going back to Lowe's. (By the way, all this waiting around, and then transferring me to different people around the store was done while I was trying to entertain a 3 year old. So very very unimpressed.)

I came to Lowe's to get a patio dog door and couple tools. It turned out it was less to purchase the door here rather than online and pay shipping. Very good quality door and easy to install, the dogs love it! In my past experience the staff is very helpful as well.

I was at my local store today looking at a stove to complete and order (almost $6,000.) After my interaction with Rene or whatever the small Mexican sales guy went by, I will no longer spend my money with this local store. I have just purchased a house and was looking at spending $20,000 over the next month in renovations including a new roof, entire kitchen and laundry. However because of my interaction with this person this company will not receive a cent from me. I tried to explain to the sales representative that I was trying to purchase an electric range to add to a large order and that I was looking at an 'open box,. The range that I was looking at had already been returned and had some damage. When the sales rep gave me a price, it was the same cost as a new in box and similar model, I asked if he could work with me a little more; Rene brushed me off and showed no effort to help me and proceeded to leave. How does this little guy have a job, move out of your parents house and maybe you could be a better sales associate.

I asked for help from two associates and they said just a few moments.... They never came back. Then I saw one with other customers... Lowes really needs to work on their customer service model

I like that most of the employees are knowledgeable and willing to help me with projects I'm working on. I also like that I can pick through the lumber when I have a project I working on that requires more than just framing lumber.
