If this store hired twice as many people, it would still be understaffed. Seriously. The employees do what they can, but there is not enough help. I walked in today, three register were open but there was 5 people waiting in line at each one. There was nobody free to man another register. Someone needed help in the electrical and 5 minutes later, they still needed help. I feel bad for the employees. They need a lot more help, and I mean a lot more.

Huge location with huge inventory and great but slow staff. Just know that it is hard to see from the road if not looking for it. It is behind the Bojangles. They should have any home improvement stuff or tools you will need at reasonable price.

Great customer service! The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Also, the aisles are clean and the items are well placed.

Waiting for a half hour after two different Associates told us they would be right back in the wood cutting section to get two simple pieces of wood cut. Eventually got fed up and went over to tool section found a hand saw and did it myself. The first employee was busy chatting it up with his buddies and we later saw him outside completely oblivious to the fact he had even forgotten about us. I wish Home Depot had never left Rocky Mount. Sad to say that Lowe's is the only place I can go but Lowe's is the Walmart of supplies. It's like employees see customers and just run the other way

Sorry customer service and the worst cashiers I’ve ever encountered. Never a smile and always talking to the other cashiers. And worst of all they move in slow motion no concern at all for the customers time are schedule they may be on. Lowe’s customer service greatly improved while Home Depot was open in Rocky Mount. So it’s obvious the terrible customer service is due to the lack of competition. However, a good manager would have never allowed this to happen.
