We waited at the order pickup line for 20 min before we finally waved someone down 10 ft away to talk to us and then once they went to the back to get it, it then took another 20-30 min to bring the item up front. It was a 7ft long box that weighed a good bit and no one even asked if we needed help getting it to the truck. It's a good thing for them we already ordered it and were picking it up! We would have gladly went somewhere else.

This was my first time at Lowes in a little while. I was about to make my purchase and asked about the military discount. The girl at the register said that I can't get the military discount because I'm not registered. I waited in line and there were only 2 people taking customers at the register. I had military ID with me, but that didn't count for anything. I think there should be a process to get customers registered as they come through to facilitate this process. I cancelled the purchase and don't feel like I want to make any future purchases from Lowes again. I will make my home improvement purchases from Home Depot.

DO NOT buy flooring here. At literally every step of the process Lowe’s has messed up. I went in at the end of January knowing what I wanted. I talked to an associate in flooring and told them what kind of flooring I wanted and then paid to have my house measured. The measure went well. That is the ONLY thing that they have managed to do right. The Pergo laminate flooring I wanted was on sale, and they also had an installation promo going on where you could have it installed for 89¢/sq ft. After the measure they call me and say that they’re sorry but they wont install flooring on sale. How on earth does that make any sense? The guy on the phone insists they’ll make it right though, so I go in after work one day with my daughter to pick something else out and get a quote. I go in on a Wednesday night and there’s hardly anyone in the store, so I fully expected to be in and out relatively quickly. There is no associate in flooring so I just go pick some flooring myself and then push the button at the sales desk to page someone for assistance. NOONE comes for 10 minutes. I push the button over and over and not a soul appears. So I go on the hunt for someone. I come across a very nice lady on an aisle and she comes back with me to page someone. For 10 more minutes no one appears. She finally leaves to physically find someone and over comes what I think was a manager of some kind. He clearly had no idea what he was doing, and after fumbling around on the computer for a few minutes the actual flooring associate finally makes an appearance. I get my quote, pay, and by the time I leave it’s 7:30. It took them an hour to get me a quote that actually only took about 15 minutes to put together and go over. It’s a special order so I wait a week and the flooring comes in to Lowe’s. I paid for delivery so they call me on a Friday to schedule but I miss the call and have to call them back. The guy who answers tells me he can’t help me but that he will have a specialist call me back in 10 or 15 minutes. I never hear back, so I call the following Monday and they tell me they already scheduled a delivery for the next Monday without even consulting me, and that someone will call em between 6pm and 10pm the Sunday before the delivery to give me a delivery window. Fast forward to yesterday when I was supposed to receive the call. I never got the phone call on the delivery window Sunday evening. This morning, Monday, I get a call around 7:30 telling me my delivery will be between 9 and 11 and someone will call me 30 minutes before they show up. I get a call around 8:50 and they told me they’ll be there in 20 or 30 minutes. I say “great, my mother will meet you there. She literally lives 5-10 minutes away.” They call me again 20 minutes later and tell me they’re there but no one else is there. I ask him to let me call my mom to see where she is and I’ll call him right back. She is 3 minutes away so I call and tell the guy this and he cuts me off while I’m speaking and tells me he wants me to tell someone else this. So I wait a few moments and then he tells me he will call me right back. We hang up and immediately after I receive another phone call from the delivery company and a lady asks me if I’m home. I explain I’ve been communicating with the delivery guy and he is aware that my mother is a couple of minutes away. She says “well I just received a call and they’re telling me no one is home.” I say “yes, that’s right, however my mother is likely already there now. I told the guy she would be there in a few minutes just before you called.” Obviously this delivery company struggles with communication between themselves. My mom arrives while I’m on the phone with the lady from the delivery company and they deliver the flooring on a pallet, which someone should have told me about because that’s rather an important detail. We made it work though. Lowe’s has messed up at every turn. Save yourself the frustration and just go to Home Depot or a specialty flooring store. I’ll never buy here again.

It would be great if they had someone assigned specifically to check that all of the stock is in the proper place. Other than that, no complaints.

Customer service definitely not a priority at Lowe's and when you happen to get lucky enough to get service it's usually substandard. You have to wander around the store for 20 min before you can find someone for help. Just happened to wander by the loading area and about 7 employees sitting there hanging out and talking. The 1 employee who did ask if I needed help (2nd day on the job) couldn't help me find what I was looking for and had to go looking for someone who could. But I gave him the 2 stars for the effort.
