Stopped by with my husband and liked it very much. The flower and plant section is packed with nice variation of plants, small and big. Also they have nice home improvement magazines by the cashiers and I bought some cleaning supplies, soap, sponges etc. This place is not just for guys but for women too. Had great time there. Recommend it.

Tried to buy a grill, asked 4 separate people for help and no one seemed to want to make the sale. Customer service called associate 4 times over loud speaker, they never came. We waited over a half an hour while the store was fairly quiet. The manager was definitely going to try to help but we were pretty set on getting out of there at that point. I was just kind of confused. So we left. Never got the grill. Bought one at Home Depot, it’s awesome.

Huge floor space and stocked with most things you'd expect from this chain. The place can be tidier and better organized. One item we're looking for was stocked with other unrelated items so it was difficult finding it without asking for assistance. Thankfully, the staff was competent and knew immediately where to point us. The place is an easy walk from the Smith/9th St. subway station and there is ample parking on-site.

Compared with Home Depot, Lowe's is clean and fairly well laid out. The parking lot is a bit of a pain to navigate around with security cars parked in the main lane and others just weaving in and out, funneled into a one lane exit but if you park far enough away, it's fine. As with any large hardware store, it is a borderline nightmare to get anyone to help you. It's probably due to low staff count, but man, getting some things done will take you a half hour of waiting. Having said that, a lot of the people there are really cool and happy to help once they have the time. Prices are fine. Nothing exceptional. Overall I'd come here over Home Depot because their parking, while frustrating, is infinitely better.

Worst store ever! Not only have they not been able to figure our why my shower door purchase is missing every single screw and handle, but every time I call I have to replay the entire story because they don't keep notes on the orders. These doors were supposed to be delivered on December 27 2017, and I received them on January 12, 2018 and it was only because I called them non stop to see where my doors where. Upon delivery they failed to include every, except the glass doors. Now I have a pair of $600 doors sitting on the floor because I don't have the mounting hardware. It is now February 5 2018 and there's not resolution in sight. Their phone is either always busy or no one picks up, and when they do they are rude enough to close the phone and just say someone will call you back. If you're looking to through money away or just looking for the worst customer service in NYC, then you can shop here.
