Had a return on a defective product and the rude girl at the service desk is sitting there accusing me of stealing it because I had a little rust on it even though it's a drain snake that ran through drain cleaner and water and was on my porch all night while it rained. So she's questioning whether or not metal will Rust a little bit that quickly. Come on is she really that stupid? Does Lowe's really hire people that dumb? Wait I already know the answer to that one and I'm sure all of you do too.

Lowe's has just about everything you need for a home improvement project. This store is no exception to that. However, it is very hit or miss (mostly just miss) when you are "helped" by store employees. On one hand I've had very courteous cashiers wme rarely someone who lacked a warm countenance. On the other hand many of the workers act like I am inconveniencing them when I ask questions, or God forbid...a preference between on brand an another. The customer service section has been a nightmare. "Wait, so are you going to get the windows in the back that I special ordered?" No response. Again it is the idea that you are inconveniencing the employee. I got to this Lowe's because the things I need are here, but I would just as soon stop going if there was a Menard's around.

What ever you do don’t fall extend warranty on thier cheap water heater. They will find away to not fix it. They send someone to my house who didn’t want to be and then lied about my water heater and then said that they would not pay for it. And refused to fix it and left with out telling me why. I had to spend hours on the phone just find out why he just left. After that I had spend extra time taking pictures to prove he lied. All this and I was without hot water for over a week. Right I still don’t have any.

The employees look down trodden. Beaten and sad. And subsequently, their customer service reflects this. I'm done with this place.
