We had a great time browsing through all the wonderful plants that are on display. We found two awesome hanging baskets that we have already gotten compliments on. Best of all they are my favorite flowers 😊. We got many great ideas while we were there. A lot of six packs of flowers made it into our shopping cart some how. Plus my husband got his military discount. It's great they honor the military service there. 😊 All of the people working there were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. No lines at the check out counter and service with a smile.

I started by looking up the product I was looking for on the Lowe’s website. I like how the website tells you right where to find the product in the store. Well not exactly. When I arrived at the store I headed straight to aisle 21 bay 8 for all purpose gravel in 60 lb bags. When the product was nowhere to be found I made my way to the contractors checkout and inquired with a Lowe’s employee. He laughed and directed me to the lawn and gardening with some sort of directions. On my way to my destination I picked up a cart so I had something to haul the items with. Once I arrived at Lawn and Gardening I notice 4 or 5 employees just hanging out. I find my gravel and grab the first bag and start loading the cart. When I look up to see if any employees where in the area to help they had all disappeared. I proceeded to load 10 60lb bags of gravel on to my cart. Once loaded I headed to the registers at the front of the store pushing all 600lbs. When I arrive at the registers I find 3 young gentlemen goofing off. One come over to the register he was supposed to be working and begins to checking me out. He counts and only gets 9 bags and I correct him and say no there is 10 60lb bags on he cart. We completely the transaction and he tells me to have a good day...but never asks if I need any help getting to my car or loading the items. I’m so disappointed at this point I just continue on to finishing on my own. So as I’m struggling to get all 10 bags into my Tahoe another Lowe’s employee comes strolling out of the store. He stares at me struggling as he walks on by to retrieve a couple carts in the parking lot. Lowe’s employees have sure proved to me they can careless about my business or helping a person in need!

This is a good home improvement store. Quality of materials is good. Seem to be a bit understaffed.

The woman in the appliance department, was very helpful. See look on the computer to find the item I was looking for, which was not on the floor.

Lowe's of Rapid City stays true to Lowe's everyday standard. The employees are usually knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. They are very military oriented, from their discounts to their employees. They are huge supporters and as a company they stick to selling quality products for a good price instead of hopping on the bandwagon for promoting political correctness to draw in customers. But best of all, they allow dogs inside.
