Store  only carries a few select items and then you have to order. I knew my item would be special order,washer/dryer combo. Would take 12 days, okay. Then 14 days, now maybe 20 days. Seriously that is far from "NEXT DAY DELIVERY". Never said it came from NC TO DC in Dallas. Had to settle for Range rather than get what I wanted because it wasn't stocked.

I'd you exchange a defective item purchased with a Lowe's card, make sure they don't give you credit by gift card. If they do, it'll cost you to exchange it.  You get the discount amount credited but don't get your discount when it's exchanged. After a bit of discussion they did agree to give me the discount.  I wish I could justify exchange the part without the extra financial transactions. 

This brings up another issue.  Check all items closely before making that 30 minute trip home.  The fixture I purchased was obviously messed up from a previous install attempt.  The chrome was completely scratched off on a showing part.  It should have have been inspected before being restocked.  Fortunately, Lowe's is always good on returns.

I was disappointed this evening. I had read so many DYI folks recommending Lowes ripping their plywood for them. When I asked them if they would I was told by the staff in the lumber dept they use an old saw and the measurements could be 1/4 in off!!?? Needless to say I did not buy the plywood 😢. You would think they would access to an excellent saw...

Excellent service! Quickly answered every question I had. Worked with Amanda in appliances,  and Ben in management. The entire transaction was very smooth and the purchase of my new refrigerator was a joy instead of the headache I was expecting it to be. I shopped the Lowe's in Sulphur Springs, Texas and would highly recommend them to others.
