Went to Walmart first, they didn't have what I wanted. Should have known I could count on Lowe's

I have been a long-time Lowes shopper, my favorite store, in fact. Yesterday I went for replacement spools for my Kobalt weed trimmer. The box on the shelf was empty, so I took it to customer service to see if there were any in stock. An associate looked and said that there were none in stock. I asked for an idea of when the stock would be available.  Her response, "I don't know. We get a truck in three times a week." I have no problems with "I don't know, but excellent customer service should have said, "Let me look for you or I will order it for you, and we will call you when it arrives." I was offered none of that. I went home and ordered if from Amazon, and it will arrive tomorrow. Brick and mortar customer service becomes even more important in today's Amazon Prime culture.

I have spent nearly $25,000 in the South Boston va store over the last year. Had to purchase a dryer yesterday. Picked one out. Couldn't find a person to help me. When I finally did, apparently the person on the phone asking about prices on this and that was more important than the person standing in front of her ready to make a purchase....took about 30 minutes. Then took another 40 minutes waiting on someone to get it out of the back....when they finally did it was bent up. Ridiculous!!!!

The assistant was very very helpful,he made sure I had what I needed but not anything I didn't.He gave helpful advice 5

It would be great if anyone ever answered phone calls. Customer service operator keeps hanging up on me.
