The front walkway is pebble, which makes rolling a bag from the rental car area very difficult.  Security is great, helping as they can.  The only down side to security is that the PreCheck scanner isn't open until they have enough people in line with it.  Inside security, the bar is fantastic for a very small airport.  The rental counters are in a very convenient place.  The biggest issue is with baggage claim.  For a very small airport, it takes entirely too long to get bags up to the passengers.

I am a Tech alumni. I used to travel back and forth from here. The waiting time has never been too long for me and the staff have also been friendly and helpful. I once lost my phone and a staff offered me their phone to make a call. They are very courteous and helpful people.

I am not sure how they are able to call themselves an airport. This facility is full of the rudest, most unhelpful, heartless workers I have ever seen. United Airlines' associates treated me as if I were a piece of garbage and yelled at me in the wide open for all to see. I was stranded at this airport for five days and there aren't enough words to explain the stress and unpleasant experience I had to endure. I have never had a good experience leaving or coming to this airport, there always seems to be a problem.

A decent little airport with full service (including Starbucks, Pizza Hut & bagels as well as a Texas gift shop), TSA is quick and courteous, however I have to take points away for the floors!! In a space where almost everyone is pulling a wheeled bag or two, the entire front outside is paved with pebble rock. Inside pre-security is all brickwork, and past security is carpet. None of it makes lugging a bag smooth. Also the WiFi is free but resets every time your phone screen turns off. Sit for 30 seconds and you have to reconnect. Rental cars are a decent walk down a hill (up if you’re returning) and there’s no shuttle if your flight is early am or gets in late.

I got through security 35 min before my flight but when I went to see what gate it was at I couldn’t find it anywhere. The computer monitor showed that the flight was on time but didn’t give the gate number. I walked from gate to gate but even at active gates there was no flight number posted. 15 min before takeoff, I started going to each gate asking which flight they were. Eventually I found it and made my flight. Flight and gate numbers really need to be posted.
